I drive a 2008 Sonata 4-cylinder and it has 146,000 miles. I bought it new. I have done all the normal maintenance on it as you should with any car. Literally the 3 repairs it has needed in all this time was a leak by the power steering pump which cost $75 to fix, the sun visor clip broke which cost $50 to fix, and the drink holder divider broke which cost $10 to fix. I kid you not that's it. Been a great car and hope to keep it another 100k.

Well to reply to my own comment it now has 166,000 miles on it a year later and nothing else has broken. Need to replace the original battery and get the transmission serviced but that's normal.

178k driven every day and nothing has broke. Needs new brake pads and rotors now but that's to be expected.

@@zjones9876 how about now?

@@ObitoIIV hit 198k today, alternator went bad 3 months ago, cost about $350 to fix with a refurb replacement. Other than that no problems. Also needed new tires since then but all cars need new tires so that's not a reliability issue.
