I bought this car with 90k on it (only put about 10k on it) and I’m really considering I made the wrong purchase. Love the power, the options, the sound it makes, but it really hasn’t been too reliable. So far in my adventures I’ve needed a new power steering pump, one of my tire pressure sensors went bad and it took 3 mechanics to finally figure it out and I took it to Infiniti where they told me I needed a new power steering rack and a new steering wheel tilt motor. There’s also a rattle or noise that NO mechanic can figure out. The dealership process was a nightmare and in total I called a close dealership about a recall 3 times and they kept telling me “well give you a call”, “They aren’t here right now but if you leave a name and number…”. They never once called me back in the span of 4 ENTIRE months. I also saw videos about how Ex35’s last forever but I had never heard anything about the issues they have. Apparently all of the issues I have are very common with other owners!! Just letting everyone know my experience with my 08 Infiniti because I would have wanted to know before I bought mine!!

@@nettie4400 also gas mileage has been a nightmare. At 5.30-5.50 a gallon and I get 16.9 miles to the gallon. LESS than epa, I’m filling up almost twice a week at 100 dollars a fill up. But if you’re willing to sacrifice reliablility and mpgs for the looks and the features have at it but in this market buy a hybrid or something better on gas mileage. DONT make the mistake I did.

@@nettie4400 also Infiniti vehicles require premium. Found that out the hard way when I tried midgrade once and my engine started sputtering

0:20 based on g35/37 coupe platform? the sedan is on same platform and fun fact, from what i understand the coupe was actually heavier than the sedan oddly

Its halfway between the g35(112" wheelbase) and 350z(106" wheelbase). The wheel base is 110" on ex35 makes it a tad more flickable than the G but more stable on highway than the Z

Another lying car salesman. There are other good luxury SUVs in 2009.m besides this. There was the Acura RDX and the Lexus LX line, as well as the BMW X3.

I own one and it's a crossover, not an SUV. Sits slightly higher than a car but far lower than an SUV. It's a great car to drive w a comfy cabin n room for gear. The rear seat is horrible w passenger leg room
