The KTM RC8 is one awesome piece of machinery, I looks space age even though we have been past that era, but you know its a KTM because of this style. Its well thought out and the reviews are fantastic on the RC8, its good to see something different out there in the market that is of good quality, I love the exhurst system under the bike like the Buell!

@kouzikakouzi actually motoGP rules state that any bike built from a company has to be a prototype and not be derived from any of their 'production' models/bikes. Hence there is no road-going; Suzuki GSVR (v4), Yamaha M1, Kawasaki ZXRR, or even Honda's RC211/2 (v5)

i saw this bike on Doha,Qatar .. and this bike was next to a ducati and this was look thinner and long ad the ducati was shorter and bigger and about the set the ducati is mach butter in the ride i think .. and thank for your video ..

The base 1098 is also lighter than this, and more powerful! I still love this bike though, it looks very good, and it is very fast too, not so fast as the duc, but when are you ever going to use all of its power on the road?

Not bad for there opening sportbike. I believe this may be the design and style of the future. I wish it had a more aggresive throaty sounding exhaust. Other than that I like it.

@phoenixar MotoGP cost a lot of money and KTM is not actually so big company, kawasaki dont race any more because of that. One more thing is that till recently use to make only dirt bikes so it is new to this kind. The engine of RC8 seems good but does not has the specs for motogp. Even BMW who is a new player in this category is not ready.

first of all..this is lighter than the duc..it's going to cost much less than a 1098R..it'll cost about what the base 1098 costs and you will probably see less of them..I love ducs..but I will take this..infact...getting my order for when they come to canada next year!

Yea I agree it's a cool bike and sure I'd like one but the 1098 will wipe it, no offense to anyone...the 1098R has 1 less torque but 27 horsepower over the rc8. I dunno about the suspension.

It's not lighter than the duc, this has a dry weight of 188 kg while the 1098r has 165 kilos. This is facts from ducatis website and KTM's website

i dont know what ur talin about. ktm has come on top with there bikes for many years.i have a 99 300 exc. it is completley built but still i beat the shit out of 3 different people riding the 08 450 r they were class b riders. ktm is the best.
