2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Borla Cat Back Exhaust

There aren't many videos out there on this exhaust so I thought I would make one. This is the 2008-2011 Subaru Impreza Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System S-Type for the 2.5i. Insulation is easy and fits very well. This is on a completely stock car with stock headers and both cats. I do believe one of the cats is going bad and that's causing a rasp, but other than that I think it sounds great.

bro I got the same car (2011) and was hesitant about a year ago to get the exhaust when I did. If this video was up back then, I defo wouldn't have been as scared cause I love the car now

Do you think it's loud enough to piss off my neighbors in the morning with a cold start-up? I don't want to deal with that. I have a 2011 Impreza Outback Sport 5 Speed manual, and I'm looking to hook it up, but still want it to be respectful to myself & the neighbors

@@Mojo522 thats actually interesting, for the majority of the time that I did have the impreza, I lived on a big property without neighbours. But for the last year of having it, I did have neighbours really close and I never heard any complaints. I got rid of the impreza now though so ig I'll never really know if it was that annoying

Borla sells a sedan version of this exhaust that has a y-pipe with dual mufflers.

@@aidanpower560 it looks like theyre selling it for $1000 which isnt cheap but its a dual exhaust so it makes sense. The hatch system is $300 cheaper and i used to have a 2010 impreza hatch with this exact system. Imo its worth every penny and theres almost zero drone on the highway.

i have the same vehicle im looking to mod, i tried to find specs on this for pipe size and couldnt find anywhere. is it 4"? and would you mind linking the sway bar and control arms? greetings from Colorado!
