2008 Toyota Yaris DIY Oil Change (Time To Bring Her Back To Life!)

IT IS ALIVE!!!! After almost 2 years of sitting on the street and not being driven much at all, the quest to bring back my daughters 2008 Yaris from the dead has begun. This fresh oil change is just the beginning as I will also change all of the other fluids over the coming weeks.
I followed this up the next morning with a complete wash and exterior detail so she also looks much better on the outside too. Some of the clear coat has failed so I'll be looking at wrapping the roof and fixing the clear on the outside of the roof rails.

At that time I followed it up with with a good wash and detail in and out. I still need to replace some more fluids but that will have to wait until after my road trip.

Her oil looked pretty good. I totally agree with filling the filter AND using only Toyota filters. Will u hose her engine bay? I hope u show us updates on it. Your cars look good. Would like to see what products u use on them. 👍

@@riceburner4747 The oil was about 15 months old so it needed to go, no matter what it looked like. Yes, engine bay needs a cleaning too. One thing at a time as I have other things to do too. I use mainly Griot's Gorge products to clean and detail my cars.
