Just bought the same model for the same price in black. Had an arrow exhaust and regular bars. Gotta say its the most fun Ive ever had on two wheels (on the road of course).

@@Bsteazy was the bike reliable without issues? I have a very old neighbour selling a 09 Speed with 15000km!

@@jerryx2000 Man it was alright. It had 55000klms on it and not a great deal of service history. Did let me down a couple of times but I expect it would've been an easy fix had I decided to keep it long term. But my 990r Superduke is much better for my style of riding i.e. track + road so it'll be around for a while.

Hey it was a 'Competition Werkes' slip-on. Great exhaust for the bike, no baffle needed. www.competitionwerkes.com/products/wt1050

What all did you do to this bike? I kinda want to use some for my triple I just got!
@petrolography98486 жыл бұрын
The main parts that created the look were removing the under-seat exhaust (which was really heavy) to fit a Werkes USA low muffler (don't get the extra baffle you won't need it), then removing all the fairings and belly pan. I fitted Driven clip-on bars and some EBay sourced rear-sets. The rear sets were surprising good quality but you have to fit a remote brake switch trigger and modify the brake lever return. You can do without the rear sets, but I wanted all the lower portion of the bike black and the standard items are silver. Finally I wrapped the headers with black exhaust wrap.. It was a great bike, really tough looking and sounding and also great as a daily rider. Hope that helps you with direction..

I had a few bikes after the Speed Triple (I've had 10+ bikes in total) but for the road, I miss this one the most! (thanks for the comment, sorry for delayed reply)
