Lucky you bro. I had this thing for a year and it was great. Then I got a Jay Greene tune and I keep getting codes. I just set the entire truck back to stock. So mad.

So I I brought this throttle control about a week ago, and it’s been nothing but trouble. Now keep in mind all my spark plugs and coil packs are 2 mths new. So Truck started to shake and Engine light came on.and I was stuck Unable to drive the truck home, Towed it to the shop and the mechanic stated the throttle controller put the coils under stress causing damaged to Coil Pack # 5. So I replaced the coil pack and it’s working fine now, without the throttle controller. Performance coil packs recommened for this product Before install.

After I installed this my gas cap light came on, and it's still on. I have never had any dashlights on besides a tire pressure light. Shm

@@johnwright9931 gas cap light is kinda common on these trucks. There's a sensor on the gas tank that collects dirt and goes out and sets off the gas cap light. There's videos on here that show how to fix it. Not super complicated to replace but it's in a hard to reach area. Part isn't very expensive either

It works. That extreme setting is set too high guys for a truck. I get it, some love to show off but to newcomers with no to little knowledge of racing, dont go extreme, your pedal will be way too sensitive. It's just insane!. Sensitivity is exactly what speedform is all about. An electronically preset of pressured pedal instruction to engine behavior. It does not give the engine more performance. I like it better with speedform rather than stock on Ram 1500 2013

When I plugged it into my truck my check engine light came on and so did the ETC light came on.

Since no one responded, I will. I’ve had one of these in my trucks since 2011. It’ll stay on for a little bit, but then it’ll turn off.

Only stays on for 2 minutes and then its off and will not draw any power. Dont worry so much.

I just installed a speedform throttle ctrl but I have a question. The controller does not turn OFF and stays ON after I turned my engine off,; therefore the controller stays on at all time is this normal condition?

I thought the same thing I think it cut off once you lock the doors about 15 sec

A throttle controller will mess with the Ecu frequency with the cam and crank sensors. The computer is Working to find the right amount of air to fuel mixture at the correct RPM. When you have a throttle controller messing with the air fuel mixture it will try to relearn and compensate.

It doesn't mess with AFR. All it does is tell the ECU that you are pressing the gas pedal harder/faster. Only a tune will mess with AFR stuff. Whether or not you can get ECU issues due to voltage changes is different.

Not worth it. I had this for about 6 months or less, it froze up and made my check engine light turn on. Buy a tuner
