What if the Mileage: is 176,807. Is it too high on a 2009?

Not necessarily. These MDX's have pretty solid reliability if properly taken care of. You'll want to make sure the transmission has been serviced in time and properly. You'll also want to check on timing best status and if it has been changed at least once and in a perfect world twice. Finally if regular general maintenance has been done. If you can confirm 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 3 of these things I wouldn't be afraid of the mileage in the least.
