2009 Acura TSX Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour

In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2009 Acura TSX. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

9k for 80k miles, this will drive easy more than 500k with good care, so it's a good deal to me. I put Mobil 1 oil and new transmission fluid every year.

i really love this car it feels like a 2014 but from 2009 it feels ahead of its tech and its definitely worth it. Being an ase certified tech it doesn't break at all the only problem ive head was the fuel cap sensor gone bad but that was it. and i now have over 180k miles

Nice video! I have the 2012 TSX Sportwagon, and it's a real unicorn (very seldom see another on the road). I've owned Hondas and Acuras going back to 1983, and my TSX is my favorite Honda so far...well built, comfortable, sneaky quick.

I own a 2003 UK (Euro) Honda Accord (same as USA Acura TSX), best car I've owned. Current mileage 178,000 miles, only ever problem was a failed ignition coil and a faulty ABS sensor. Brilliant car!Watch my video about how to find ABS fault codes WITHOUT a scan tool !

@TheEnergydrinkguru Actually, TSX is a cheaper version of Accord. :P Interior details in TSX are actually cheaper than in euro/jp Accord. This car was sold as Accord first, then it was rebranded to Acura TSX for north american market.

owned a 2002 RSX (basically two-door version since they are mechanically identical) and drove it to 110k then traded it for a new 2008 RSX which was totaled when a guy jumped across traffic into my gf's lane (around 80k and three years old). Car protected her and her mom well -- car was hit hard with both front air bags deployed); and held its value extremely well. We then bought a certified 2009 with 30k drove it to 70k when we traded it for a Rav4 (to cart a trailer across the country). So almost 200,000 miles on this drivetrain between three cars and here is what I would say: all feel like they were constructed out of iron....all were uber-reliable, safe, fuel efficient (asks for super but we mostly used regular), and has plenty of power -- don't take the cost/fuel penalty of the v6. Critics like the RSX/2004-2008 TSX for its handling proess but the 2009-20014 is almost as good but it feels much more luxurious and, (for my 30k annual highway miles) much quieter. Buy you can't go wrong with all three--it is homerun run.

I would just buy used on something way cheaper but still nice that way you can have both and not have to live in your car. Those payments will eventually eat you alive if you don't have any savings ready for the unexpected, which is inevitable in life.

@neymoura I'm not American, but what I like about Acura is the fact that it's a luxury brand. I know that sounds kinda cheesy, but in todays world image does mean alot. As as I like Honda's, it wouldn't look as professional showing up at my job, or other places I go to show up in say a Honda Civic. But a Acura TL would be great. Probably different for people in other industries, but in mine I have to look as professional as possible for customers. Acura takes the best of honda into luxury brand

@@esmokez95 had my 2011 (2012 model year upgrade) for two months now bought it for $9k AUD, 110K kms (70k mi) runs fantastic, reasonable fuel economy for a car of its size but requires premium unleaded which makes it a bit expensive to run car drives great and is remarkably refined, love the auto lights/wipers and dipping passenger mirror when reversing It's a comfortable highway cruiser also

Actually the interior quality is very good. Pretty much every surface is soft touch and it's well assembled, no gaps or loose panels. It's not as good as a BMW 3 Series though.

The TSX is pretty inexpensive for a luxury car, though, especially for its size. Honda doesn't do much soft plastics in general, but they do design a gorgeous interior. I didn't notice any mention of the low resolution of the LCD screen... my Accord has the same, it's quite pixelated. Otherwise, these cars are great.

I think I will prefer this car over the ILX. The ILX is basically a civic with a tuxedo and this car is bigger and come with a manual and automatic and the cost and value is better than ILX. If power is important to me, then I would get an Accord with a V6 engine, however the ride is a bit stiffer for my taste, and noise level could be better. I haven't test drive the new Accord with a CVT, although I'm kinda not interesting driving a car with a CVT.
