If you doubt 2600 hp you have to realise this is in Quebec Canada. They run trucks like this only in competition. Sylvain Noels Kenworth whit a six cylindre cat enginge bet This Freightliner in the open loaded finals in St.Joseph Quebec last year. Noel also won the bobtail final whit new record there, 91 mph in 900 feet uphill.

@@thermidorlevrai65 ...... which Cat engine platform are you using? The 3406, C-15, C15(Accert), C-18, or ??? Overall gearing can either "make or break" an engine in terms of pulling power.... and I suspect that you've got just the right "combination" between the transmission and rears.... that's a strong runner you have there, and it's Not all "just" in the engine.... gearing is Everything!! : )

Thomas Ancas..... You can buy a New or used COE over in Australia, and have it shipped here (US).. of course the steering is on the "wrong side" for the states, but you could always adapt to it. With Australia still "stuck in the 1960s" with their stupid short wheelbase laws for the power units (semi), just like we had into the late 1970s, you would be assured of getting a short wb COE for getting around New England. I will say one thing for the Aussies... they run some awesome power over there!! Their Newest Scania COE's (and some of the Volvo COE's) are running V8's with over 750hp.... "Stock" from the factory!! They still had the Mack E-9 V8 up until just a few years ago.... NEW!!

Not a made up engine,it's a single block they were factory made 24 cylinder engines. Made mainly for Marine application or stationary gen sets. Factory made V24 not two of anything smashed together! Also just FYI the qsa is a 16 cylinder engine

6.7 scorpion..... I realize this reply is a little "late"... however, just in case you come back to it at some point in time, the answer is a resounding.. NO. A "QSK" is one of many different Cummins engine families... and looks absolutely Nothing like this engine, which is a modular built V24 comprising of two V12 Series 71 engines that are mated together at the factory. This is a 2 cycle Detroit Diesel of the Series 71 engine family... on the books it's a 24V71(TTi originally) which means that it has 24 cylinders of 71ci each (4.25" X 5.00" bore & stroke). They were primarily built for marine use, however there were some that were also used in industrial applications as well, such as oil field rigs of various types.

I pulled up at 2.00 mins, got sick of the music, & looking at the pretty flashing lights. Nice truck, but its only 2x 8V71's coupled together. been done many times before. Engines are old tech. I thought it might have been some you beaut engine. I've driven an Argosy, so already love them.

Besides I had a tiller truck with a 100foot ladder and about 25000pounds of tools and equipment with450hp and a 6 speed Allison World transmission! Was governed to 75mph! No reason this truck couldn't be a road truck.Probly go 80mph in 6th gear at about 1000rpm!

Bullshit probably 15 hundred to 1750 horsepower tops but it's not horsepower that gets you down the road and up the hill that job is left up to torque and those two engines put together probably wouldn't give you much more than about 1000 maybe 1200 foot pounds of torque if lucky
