Bought used civic over 200k miles the fluid drained and has same color as yours , 4 drain and fill solved it .

The service people at Honda are telling me it should be done every day 30k and the computer in the car is displaying A3 at less than 25k between changes.

Hello,this civic is already 120+000 miles,its better for you to change it twice,and after that every 30 to 40thou miles to be safe,thanks

The transmission filter is inside the transmission body it can't be change, unless you will remove the transmission and dismantled it,
