I bought a 2007 Versys in perfect condition. Previously I had a Diversion, SV 650 and Hornet 600. Versys is such a mixture of genres. A bit of a tourist, naked, adventure and supermoto. Lots of torque and does wheelies wonderfully

Bought this model 3 months ago because the upright position is easier on my back. Had a VN900 before but the Versys goes better and handles much better, lighter than the VN and easier on the lower back.

I bought a 2009 Kawasaki Versys 650 about two and a half years ago. (Candy Lime Green) 💚 The seat is incredibly comfortable. I rode mine 850 miles in 2 days without any leg numbness or circulation problems. I believe that the Versys 650 is the Best Middle Weight Touring Motorcycle in the World ! Sporty, Fun and Versatile !,

I've got the exact same year 2009 model with 78 000km on it, orange colour. Service not expensive and very fuel efficient.. Great on the long road aswell and very reliable bike...

You know what my whole thing is? I bought a brand new 2011 Suzuki V-Strom and put 26,000 mi on it and that V Strom following is Big you know, well after I sold it after a couple of years I end up with a 2014 Versys650 , i much prefer the Kawasaki aesthetically and performance , ergonomics, got me the lime green one with only 4900 miles for $4499 😊 im one lucky satisfied fella.

I just bought a yellow and black 2011 Versys which looks brand new, has only 3,100 miles for $4,000. Has SW Motech crash bars, side bag and top bag mounts, Yoshi exhaust, tuned, Denali riding lights, brand new Michelin Pilot tires.

2½ years ago,...I bought a 2009 (Candy Lime Green) Versys 650 with brand new tires, Musarri GP Street Series Exhaust & MRA Smoke Tinted Windscreen, it only had 5,000 miles on the odometer. I paid $3,700 for it. I ride it every day, because it's AWESOME FUN !

Nice review! I bought a 2009 years ago used for $3K as my beginner bike. Top-heavy, torquey, unforgiving. Still riding it 💖 does everything from highway to some dual sport. With some mods you can fix those few issues.

I looked at one for sell today in the UK for £2500. It needs a bit of tlc but other than that it's good. Im test riding it on a dry day.

Have one the chain snapped. Smashed the sprocket cover and broke the oil pipe. Got a bearing knock impossible to get oversize bearings. Really demotivated to work on it at a point to just sell it as is... Pretty sad to see her go

@steveb936 You don't feel it when you're riding, just like you don't feel the asymetrical swingarm setup. Feels like a raised and somewhat detuned Ninja 650.

Not knocking your price but i rarely saw them for more than 3500 this winter & that was top end. Actually just paid 3200 myself but missed out on one for 2800. He originally wanted 3k though i think
