Watching this, I notice a theme here. David Stremme was a guaranteed caution every race of 2009.

every time i make one of these i also notice there's always those one or two guys that just seem to magically be in everything lol

@@NolanRempelYep. When you get to it, the 2018 Xfinity series had that accursed #60 car. The 2018 K&N East series also had Anthony Alfredo. Pretty sure he was the 40, but I don't know if that's right.

I never understood how Stremme kept getting funding to land top rides. The dude never won in Busch/Xfinity and clearly was a wrecking ball in cup

Sam Hornish Jr and David Stremme crash compilation would be the alternate title, holy cow was Penske in the mud at this point outside of Kurt

I see that Stremme, Hornish and Ragan were the prototypes for the caution clock.

"And that destroyed the front end of newman's car!" has to be one of the greatest "priorities?" bits of commentary in NASCAR... Yeah, there's a car ripping down the fence, mike, maybe focus on that :D
@NolanRempel6 ай бұрын
Honestly one of the most memorable pieces of commentary in the last 20 years for me. "And that destroyed the front end, of Newman's car!" "noooo" "Edwards will NOT make it to the flag" "oh nooo" "Brad Kez-eh-lowski, WON this race!"

The 2009 season. Aerodynamic problems caused cars to be unguided airborne missiles due to the wing of the cars. Underfunded car teams would start the race and park it when the race had started. Aussie Marcos Ambrose makes his full-time debut. Jeremy Mayfield banned from NASCAR forever after a failed substance abuse policy which led to him being locked up. And finally, the teams that partnered together after the economic crisis. Chip Ganassi and DEI now called Earnhardt Ganassi racing, Yates with Aikman and Staubach known as Yates/Hall of Fame Racing, Ray Evernham with Richard Petty, and Michael Waltrip Racing with JTG Brad Daugherty where Michael Waltrip's engines were put in Ambrose's car.

@@kevin_nix3He was Penske's test driver for 2008 and since he was the only one at their disposal with cup experience they just said, fuck it why not?

Ah yes, the golden years of NASCAR when the entire field consisted of drivers only you knew and not random faces

What About 2010?
@NolanRempel6 ай бұрын
2010 is in the works, it's been a bit hectic for me on the home front here with a huge production over on my broadcasting channel, (Clips from which are also available!) so I've been taking a much needed break. Been working nonstop for like a month
