@@BarrieCrampton I've only gone and done it lol... Just bought myself a 2010 Qashqua 1.6 petrol.. FSH, 90K, Superb condition.. Was asking £3295 bid him down to £2700 :-) Can't wait to drive it when tax is sorted

@@J26NGH Yes i do still have it, I have had Fords all my life until i drove my friends Qashqai, hence why i bought one. I love it and a nice experience to drive. I fitted an all singing and dancing 4GB RAM android stereo with satnav which replaced the old Qashqai one but the car is nice and i am pleased i purchased it.. Please make sure there is nothing wrong with the one you buy as Nissan said once they go wrong they can be a nightmare. Touch wood i had a great deal with mine and there is nothing wrong with it. Considering it’s only done 39k it has a decent amount of wear to the top of the steering wheel

You have good eyes Brendan but that isnt wear, certain models suffer from the same thing, Fords, Peugeots, Nissans, Renaults we think its caused by Ladies perfume or hand creme, it affects the coating of the steering wheel and gives it a wrinkled appearance, so im guessing it is probably perfume as you wouldnt buy creme that made things go wrinkly would you, thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment 👍

Between this model and the new one(2014 onwards) what would be best for uber taxi? had my mind on reanault megane, ford focus, nissan qasqai this or new model of qashqai. Which would be the best reliable choice? BTW best reviews I found online, second to none

@@jaymejohnson5785 dont do that, what year is your qashqai? You can use the power socket/cigarette lighter plug, and i am sure there will be an aux in plug somewhere, centre console, in armrest/glove box what year and model is your car?

Dam, those dam child locks. I slept in a hire car (vauxhall mocca) in the highlands of scotland a few months ago due being unable to find a hotel and was tired after a long journey. The police stopped by to check on what I was doing in the middle of the night, and guess what? I couldn't open the rear doors due to the child lock lol. Had to climb awkwardly to the passenger side and give him my drivers licence.

the just got the gearbox wrong way round 6 speed should have been in the petrol and the 5 speed in the diesel 6th in diesel revs to low bad for oil pressure for the diesel engine same problem in the ford focus diesel 5th gear to big revs to low @ 60mph

I wouldn't recommend the 1.6 petrol 113bhp is just not enough power for the size/weight of the vehicle. The 1.5 diesel is much better, pulls well through the gears and smoother aswell as great fuel economy..
