​@@rfaroofball I'm curious to see how you might adapt this to a different house. Houses of this particular style aren't hard to find in my neck of the woods, but they never have the same configuration of those pole things or the level of slope for the garage roof. Brilliant game BTW

@@6JCD We have a portable target system we built so we can play on other roofs. We've played two other places. It's in my plans to shoot and post a video of how we built it so maybe others will do the same (or build even better ones) and Roofball can be played on just about any roof.

All good questions - there are three tournaments a year: World Championships, RFA Cup, US Open. No regular season - yet! The Volvo (but thank you!) was towed away for the last time in 2011. We play carless these days. every throw can't be an around multiplier but if you can ping consistently that is how legends are made

It really is. I've said for awhile there are three stages of a Roofball player's adjustment to the game: PHASE 1: "Wait, so I just throw and try and hit the pole? OK I'll try that." PHASE 2 (usually about 3 tournaments in): "OK so if I score between 30-35 points in any given round that's probably enough to advance so if I try for arounds early and get them then I can relax later in the game and if I don't get them I can still rally with pings later." This also tends to be a part of their career with poor tourney finishes. PHASE 3 (about 5 tournaments in): "Nope, I was right the first time. Just throw the ball and hit the pole. Rest takes care of itself."

@@Brand-ju4jm oh for sure. I think a decent college QB probably would too. If people with legit good arms start playing Roofball we’re gonna have to build longer roofs to keep it challenging at the higher levels.

Buddy choked the 1st round. I must add that the video and commentary are awesome. Well done and you should think about bringing this back. And I see the roof is new, FYI every time a ball hits the roof it damages the shingles. But who cares. This is awesome…..
