The team needs to be punished to stop this. How do you hold a senior that will never play again accountable? By holding the team accountable next year. No tournaments, no tv time, something that hurts bad. The player also needs to be in a courtroom explaining why she thinks it's ok to assault people.

If coaches had more incentive to weed these violent players off the teams, then sports wouldn't be like this. They know who these players are from the beginning of the season. That alone will follow her on background checks for the rest of her life (and it's not like she will have the opportunity to make millions of dollars like an NBA player could); so that alone has future job implications and ensures she will face long-lasting repercussions.
