It would be different if he truly fell in love with her like he did Caroline and Brooke but he only got with Taylor first to keep Eric and Brooke's union or marriage together. We are now supposed to believe that Ridge and Brooke are both grandparents and are still gallivanting with other people...but are soulmates... New characters & storyline’s were needed 15 years ago...

They should have written Taylor & Ridge out of the show when Ronn Moss left. Maybe to Forrester international & brought Thorne back to run it in LA. Once Ronn Moss & Hunter Tylo left it was boring. It was boring from 2002 but got worse. Now it’s like Taylor never existed except as a nut job & this new Ridge has no appeal. Brooke’s storyline is on repeat. TRIDGE should left the show as TRIDGE.

This is the reason I stopped watching the show a long time ago. Brooke is the love of Ridge's life and vise versa, so the drama is written about their constant bad choices and the consequences of them. Normally, hurting others they love or care about, then finding their way back. It's wash, rinse and repeat. Then, there's the antagonists, Stephanie and Taylor, who is a very bad psychiatrist not to see the writing on the wall day one. Both Ridge and Brooke would go back to people who made the other jealous and insecure. And, when they had them and could make a future with them, they no longer wanted them. Ugh, same ol' shit. I loved Guiding Light, where there are consequences to decisions but good endings.

I stopped watching after 2002. I’m catching some of these clips now and I realise I made the right decision in not watching this crappy show. I actually liked in Taylor in the beginning and I never like Brooke. But of this stupid triangle, Ridge pissed me off the most. He was toxic & got away with it..Taylor should’ve stayed “dead” or they could’ve left her with Nick. The show had potential to be like Dallas or Dynasty but stagnated. It became even more ridiculous.
