I am also disappointed that they never allowed Eric, Ridge, Thomas, and Steffy do a young girls clothing line in honor of Phoebe Forrester, because she was their model and face for young girls all over the world and then let Steffy share what it means to have a sister!

Doesn't mattered. He helped raise her. Her chersished her and loved her, the same way he loved Ridge. As I understand it, Eric is the sole original male cast member remaining, and Ridge _still_ calls him "Dad", even after finding out more than a decade ago that he is biologically Massimo's son. Far as Ridge is concerned, he, and his children are still a huge part of the Forrester family, and Eric, the Patriarc of said family, wouldn;t have it any other way. I might just be speaking as a step kid who'se step mom loved him like her own, but often in family, ties of blood matter far less than ties of the heart.

I get that Taylor and Ridge were hurting but Rick really didn't want to hurt let alone kill Phoebe. Looking back Rick was also a victim,phoebe wouldn't let him just leave.

@xxxtangerinexxx How dare I suggest that Saint Taylor is nothing but a giant hypocrite! Everyone knows she can do no wrong! Let's forget the fact that she's old enough to be Rick's mother...that she only slept with him to get back at Brooke...that she had no regard for her own daughter's feelings. Because she's Taylor after all, not Brooke. Therefore, she's held to an entirely different standard.
