0:59 - the Sun Bowl in El Paso is one of the most picturesque settings in college football - and really in any sport. I know it will never happen because of the commercialization of sports nowadays but it would really be cool to see more marquee sporting events played there - or even having the NFL play a preseason game there.

he had two vicious hits in this game! don't know if you know his story but, he played 8-man ball at a little school in dewer Oklahoma and he slipped under the radar for the most part until "lucky for ou" someone saw some film of him getting the ball and running for touchdowns every time he touched the ball "the hammer" was his nickname. Brent Venables gave a media interview and called him the most violent hitter he had ever seen!

i know he left early for the draft but i dont know if he got drafted. but, he could bring the pain! venables had to tell him to ease up on his teammates! they asked him about going easy on his teammates when they interviewed ronnell and he said "oh, i just barely tapped them!" hahaha!

OU held them to 3 points in the second half that type of defense is coming back this season
