Hi, Please suggest good tyres for Honda Amaze 2018 S variant, tyre size 175/65 R14. I stay in Pune and often drive on Mumbai - Pune expressway, my major requirements are Safety(rainy season drive), comfortable ride with less cabin noise, and good mileage. Additionally, is it advisable to upsize the tyres(keeping rim size same) as I frequently see my car bottom hitting speed-breakers and other pot holes, if yes, then what size?

Choosing tires for your 2009 Maruti Alto LX with a target life of 50,000 kilometers or 7 years depends on your driving conditions and priorities. Here are some suggestions considering both durability and brand availability in the Indian market: Focus on Durability (for 50,000 km target life): - MRF ZVTV: A well-known option in India, known for its toughness and extended tread life. It might be a good choice if maximizing mileage is your top priority. - JK Tyre Ultima X-Plus: Another budget-friendly option known for its durability and good performance on Indian roads. - CEAT Securo Drive: A fuel-efficient tire from CEAT, offering decent durability for daily driving. Balance of Durability and Comfort (for 50,000 km target life): - Michelin Energy XM2: A good balance between affordability, comfort, and extended tread life. - Bridgestone Duravis: Leans towards durability with a comfortable ride. Currently running of mrf it to noisy and cant trust on cornering. Can i go for 185/65/14 profile for cornering? Looked for turanzo 6i(175) and yokohama earth (175)--- Suggest me.

Ford Figo 1) upgrading to 185/65 R14 tyres can potentially improve cornering performance for your Ford Figo. The wider tyre provides a larger contact patch with the road, which can enhance grip and stability, especially during cornering. However, it's important to note that other factors such as tyre compound, tread pattern, and suspension setup also play a significant role in overall handling. 2) Cornering Bridgestone Turanza T001 vs Yokohama Earth 1 Bridgestone Turanza T001: - Strengths: Known for its comfortable ride, good fuel efficiency, and quietness. Offers a balance of performance and comfort. - Weaknesses: Might not be as sporty as some other options. Yokohama Earth 1: - Strengths: Offers good fuel efficiency, comfortable ride, and decent grip, especially in wet conditions. - Weaknesses: Might not offer the same level of performance as some premium options. Considering your preference for cornering, the Yokohama Earth 1 might be a better choice. It's known for its good grip and handling, which can enhance your driving experience, especially on winding roads. 3) Tyre choices Premium Choices: - Michelin Primacy 4 ST: Offers a balance of comfort, quietness, and excellent grip. Known for its long tread life and fuel efficiency. - Continental PremiumContact 6: Provides a smooth ride, precise handling, and good fuel efficiency. Good Value Options: - Bridgestone Turanza T001: Offers a comfortable ride with decent grip and fuel efficiency. - MRF ZLX: A durable and affordable option, known for its performance on Indian roads. Budget-Friendly Option: - CEAT SecuraDrive: Offers a good balance of comfort, grip, and durability at an affordable price. Looked for turanzo 6i(175) and yokohama earth (175)--- Suggest me.

Hi Sir, I have 185/60 r15 tyres on my polo, thinking to upgrade tyres for comfort and highway driving, should I go for 195/55 r16 or just 195/60 r15 will be good enough?
@TrekBookIndia23 күн бұрын
The decision to upgrade from 185/60 R15 to 195/55 R15 or 195/60 R15 for your Volkswagen Polo depends on your priorities and driving habits. Here's a breakdown of the potential benefits and drawbacks of each option: 195/55 R15: - Pros: - Maintains the original aspect ratio, preserving handling characteristics. - May offer slightly improved fuel efficiency compared to the wider 195/60 R15. - Less likely to rub against fenders or other components. - Cons: - Might not provide as much additional comfort or ground clearance as the 195/60 R15. 195/60 R15: - Pros: - Provides a slightly taller sidewall, potentially improving comfort and ride quality. - May offer slightly better ground clearance for rougher roads. - Cons: - Could slightly affect handling and fuel efficiency compared to the stock size. - Might increase the risk of rubbing against fenders if the car is lowered or heavily loaded. Recommendations: - If comfort and a slightly taller sidewall are your priorities: Upgrading to 195/60 R15 might be a good option. However, be aware of the potential impact on handling and fuel efficiency. - If you prioritize handling and fuel efficiency: Sticking with the stock size of 185/60 R15 might be the better choice.

The Continental UC6 stands out as a strong contender for your car, given its emphasis on comfort and balanced performance. With a reputation for delivering a smooth and quiet ride, it's well-suited for city driving. While its treadwear rating may be slightly lower than some alternatives, its fuel efficiency and brand reliability make it a compelling choice. Weaknesses: Might not offer the same level of handling and cornering grip as some other premium options. Continental UC6: Strengths: Offers a balance of comfort, handling, and wet grip. Known for its precise steering response and good fuel efficiency. Weaknesses: Might be slightly more expensive than the Turanza T001. Recommendation: If you prioritize comfort and fuel efficiency, the Bridgestone Turanza T001 is a great option. Thanks for the useful information. I have Kia Seltos with one of the tyres recently got damaged and in need of replacement. I had Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 215/60 R17. Can you please suggest me which tyre should i get it replaced with. Im looking for good comfort and warranty (unconditional). Thanks in advance :)
@TrekBookIndia7 ай бұрын
Finding an unconditional warranty on tires is rare, as they typically cover defects in materials and workmanship, not wear and tear or road hazards. However, some manufacturers offer good warranties, and here are some suggestions for replacing your damaged Goodyear Assurance Triplemax on your Kia Seltos, focusing on comfort and strong warranties: - Comfort-Oriented Options: - Michelin Primacy 4 SUV: Renowned for its smooth ride, quiet operation, and extended tread life. Michelin provides a competitive warranty for their tires. - Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 SUV: Prioritizes comfort and low rolling resistance, potentially enhancing fuel efficiency. Bridgestone also offers a robust warranty program. - Yokohama BluEarth AE51 SUV: Strikes a balance between comfort, quietness, and excellent handling for year-round use. Yokohama warranties are widely recognized for their dependability. If your current Assurance Triplemax tires are approaching the end of their lifespan, it's advisable to replace all four tires to maintain optimal performance and handling. Hello sir, 250/60/16 .....which brand should I use for breeza ?
@TrekBookIndia7 ай бұрын
- Compatibility Issues: The 250/60/16 tire size may lead to rubbing against fenders or other wheel well parts, potentially causing damage and affecting handling. - Performance Impact: The larger tire's increased weight and diameter can negatively influence handling, braking, fuel efficiency, and odometer accuracy. - Warranty Concerns: Using a non-stock tire size like 250/60/16 might void the car's warranty. - Recommended Brands in Stock Size (205/60 R16): - Michelin: Options such as the Primacy 4 ST or Energy XM2+ are renowned for comfort, handling, and durability. - Continental: Consider tires like the ContiPremiumContact 5 or ContiEcoContact UC6 for precise handling and performance. - Bridgestone: The Dueler H/P Sport and Ecopia EP422 Plus offer a good balance of features. - Yokohama: Choose the BluEarth-GT AE51 or Geolandar G055 for a comfortable ride and good grip. - Consultation Recommended: Always consult the owner's manual or a certified mechanic before purchasing tires to ensure compatibility with your Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza model and avoid potential issues. if you like my channel then do subscribe it since I get only 100 subscribers per month !!

Great informative video Sir, I want to replace my Swift Dzire's tyres, run 33000 kms, 8 years old JK tyre (stock). My needs are noiseless cabin, comfort & good breaking since my car doesn't have ABS. Kindly suggest me new tyres as my running is low. One more thing, can i upsize to 185/70 R14 as against the stock profile 165/80 R14? Thanks in advance.
@TrekBookIndia8 ай бұрын
Considering your priorities for a noiseless cabin, comfort, good braking without ABS, and low running. Recommended Tires: 1. Michelin Primacy 4ST: - Exceptional noise reduction and comfort. - Balanced wet and dry braking. - Available in 165/80 R14. 2. Bridgestone Turanza T001: - Very fuel-efficient with low rolling resistance. - Comfortable and quiet ride. - Reliable wet and dry handling. - Available in 165/80 R14 and 185/70 R14. 3. Yokohama BluEarth AE-51: - Good balance of noise reduction, comfort, and fuel efficiency. - Decent wet and dry braking. - Available in 165/80 R14 and 185/70 R14. 4. Continental PremiumContact 2: - Excellent combination of quietness, comfort, and handling. - Good wet and dry braking. - Available in 165/80 R14. Upsizing to 185/70 R14: - Pros: Slightly improved handling and comfort. - Cons: Increased fuel consumption, potential warranty issues. Recommendation: For maximum noise reduction and comfort, choose Michelin Primacy 4ST in 165/80 R14. For a balance of comfort, fuel efficiency, and handling, consider Bridgestone Turanza T001. Ultimately, the choice depends on your priorities and driving habits.professional for guidance based on your local climate, typical road conditions, and driving style.

If I upsize or downsize tyre then tyre pressure has to be also changed or car manufacturer recommended pressure can be maintained?
@TrekBookIndia8 ай бұрын
While the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure is a good starting point, it's generally not advisable to maintain the same pressure when upsizing or downsizing tires. Upsizing may require slightly higher pressure for increased load capacity and firmer handling, while downsizing may need slightly lower pressure for decreased load capacity and a softer ride. Adjusting pressure ensures safety, optimal handling, and comfort. Consult load inflation tables or a tire professional for correct pressure recommendations. Prioritize safety and refer to your car's manual for specific guidance.

@TrekBookIndia4 ай бұрын
Since budget isn't a constraint and you prioritize a balance between city and highway driving for your Tata Hexa (235/55 R19), here are two excellent options to consider: 1. Michelin Primacy 4+: [Image of Michelin Primacy 4+ tires] - Pros: - Exceptional All-Around Performance: Offers excellent grip, handling, and responsiveness on both dry and wet roads. - Comfort and Quietness: Michelin is known for its focus on comfort, and the Primacy 4+ delivers a quiet and smooth ride, perfect for highway cruising. - Long Tread Life: You can expect good mileage from these tires, making them a good value despite the premium price tag. - All-Season Capability: Handles varied weather conditions well. - Cons: - Price: Michelin tires are generally more expensive than other brands. 2. Continental ContiSportContact 5: - Pros: - Excellent Handling: Prioritizes handling and performance, making it a good choice for drivers who enjoy a more spirited driving experience, even with a large SUV like the Hexa. - Good Balance for City and Highway: Provides a good balance of comfort for city driving and responsiveness for highway driving. - All-Season Performance: Maintains good grip in various weather conditions. - Cons: - Treadwear: The focus on handling might mean slightly less tread life compared to the Michelin Primacy 4+. - Noise: The ContiSportContact 5 might not be as quiet as the Michelin Primacy 4+ on the highway due to its sportier tread design. Choosing between these two: - Prioritize Comfort and Long Life: If a quiet ride, long tread life, and excellent all-around performance are most important, then the Michelin Primacy 4+ is the better choice. - Prioritize Handling and Performance: If you enjoy a more spirited driving experience and prioritize handling for both city and highway driving, then the Continental ContiSportContact 5 might be a better fit. if you like my channel then do subscribe since I get only 100 subscribers per month !!!

Hi, I have a Volxwagon Tiagun, and one tyre burst. Can I replace that with a directional tyre? Or does it only make sense to add directional tyres when all 4 tyres need changing ?
@TrekBookIndia3 ай бұрын
It's generally not recommended to replace just one tire with a directional tire. Directional tires are designed to rotate in a specific direction, indicated by an arrow on the sidewall. This pattern helps channel water away from the tire for better grip in wet conditions. If you replace only one tire with a directional tire, it can create an imbalance in the way the car handles, potentially affecting its stability and safety. Here's what you should do: 1. Replace the damaged tire with a tire that matches the existing tires on your car. This will ensure consistent handling and performance. 2. Consider replacing all four tires at once: If your existing tires are nearing the end of their life or if you want to upgrade to a different type of tire, replacing all four at once is ideal. This will ensure optimal performance and safety. If you like content of my channel then please do subscribe 🙂

Can i upgrade brezza tyre with 215/65/R16 Or should i go for 225/65/R16 please suggest
@TrekBookIndia2 ай бұрын
Upgrading Your Brezza's Tyres: 215/65 R16 vs 225/65 R16 It's generally not recommended to upgrade to 225/65 R16 for your Brezza. - 215/65 R16: This is the stock size for many Brezza variants, offering a good balance of comfort, handling, and fuel efficiency. - 225/65 R16: This is a wider tyre with a taller sidewall. While it might offer a slightly softer ride and better ground clearance, it could negatively impact handling, fuel efficiency, and potentially affect your speedometer accuracy. Warranty: Modifying the tyre size might void your car's warranty. If you like my channel then plz subscribe 🙂

Here are some good tire options for your Tata Altroz, considering your driving habits (50% city, 50% highway), priorities (good grip, handling, long life, warranty), and the fact that your current tires are 4 years old with 68,000 kms: Focus on High-Performance and Durability: - Michelin Primacy 4+: Offers excellent grip, handling, and a good balance of comfort and responsiveness. Apollo Alnac: - Pros: - Value for money: Apollo Alnac tires offer decent performance at a competitive price point. - Good variety: Apollo Alnac offers a range of tires for different needs, including all-season capability. - Cons: - Performance: They might not match the high-performance levels of some Yokohama tires, especially in aspects like handling. - Brand recognition: Apollo might not have the same brand recognition as Yokohama globally. Here's a recommendation based on your situation: - Prioritize Performance and Durability: If you value good handling, grip, and expect to keep your tires for a longer period, then Yokohama might be a better choice. - Focus on Value and Replacing Just Two: If you're looking for a more affordable option to replace just two tires and prioritize everyday driving performance, then Apollo Alnac could be a good value proposition. Tires for your Mahindra Scorpio N (18 inch) with 75% highway and 25% off-road driving: - All-Terrain Tires: These tires offer a good balance of on-road comfort and off-road capability, making them ideal for your driving mix. Here are some good options: - Bridgestone Dueler A/T 001: Known for durability, off-road traction, and decent on-road handling. - Goodyear Wrangler Adventure AT/S: [Image of Goodyear Wrangler Adventure AT/S tire] Offers a balance of all-weather performance, off-road grip, and highway comfort. - Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015: Provides a comfortable ride on-road and good traction on loose surfaces. Dealers in Pimpri who might buy back your 17 inch alloys and tires: Finding dealers who specifically offer buybacks on new tires and alloys can be tricky. However, here are some general tire dealers in Pimpri you can contact to inquire about buyback options: - Pandit Tyres: (www.pandit.com/) They have a wide range of tires and might be willing to negotiate a buyback on your new 17-inch setup. - Popular Tyre House: (www.google.com/mymaps/viewer?mid=1Gtja8OJ3Blb1Vs5VRs9nF8wnva8&hl=en_US) This dealer is known for its competitive prices and might consider your buyback offer. - Supreme Wheels: (www.google.com/mymaps/viewer?mid=1fR0AANARz2KhGQWdDaDokjVkFlw&hl=en_US) They offer various tire brands and might be interested in a buyback deal. Disclaimer: I am not connected to any of above dealers by any means. It's always best to call these dealers directly and inquire about their specific buyback policies and pricing for your current 17-inch wheels and tires. Thank you. Very informative video. Sir I have Grand i10 Auto 2018 model, want to change my tyres. Currently it's 165 65 R 14 can I go for 165 70 R 14 ?
@TrekBookIndia4 ай бұрын
You can technically switch to 165/70 R14 tires for your 2018 Grand i10 Automatic. Pros of switching to 165/70 R14: - Slightly increased ground clearance: The taller sidewall of the 70 aspect ratio will raise your car's ride height by a small margin, potentially improving clearance over bumps and obstacles. - Potentially improved ride comfort: The taller sidewall might also provide a slightly softer ride by absorbing more impact from road imperfections. Cons of switching to 165/70 R14: - Odometer variance: The speedometer and odometer readings might become slightly less accurate. Since the new tires have a larger diameter, your car will travel a slightly longer distance for each revolution of the wheel compared to the stock 165/65 R14 tires. This means the speedometer might read a lower speed than you're actually travelling, and the odometer might underestimate the total distance driven. - Potential handling changes: The taller sidewall might affect handling characteristics slightly, especially during cornering. The car might feel less responsive or have a bit more body roll. - Potential rubbing on fenders: In some cases, the larger tires might rub against the fenders, especially if the car is lowered or if you encounter full suspension compression (like with a heavy load). Hello sir, I need to change my Nexon tyre.....my average drive is low.....kindly suggest.... I checked from dealer...ceat 6100, Goodyear 7000, Bridgestone 8100..pls suggest. Location Rajasthan area....
@TrekBookIndia6 ай бұрын
Considering your location and driving needs, as well as the options provided by the dealer, here's a suggestion: Given that your average drive is low and you're likely looking for a cost-effective option without compromising too much on quality, the CEAT and Goodyear options seem like reasonable choices. CEAT and Goodyear are both reputable tire brands known for offering good value for money. Between the two, CEAT tires are generally well-regarded for their durability and performance, especially on Indian roads. The CEAT SecuraDrive or CEAT Milaze X3 could be suitable options for your Nexon. These tires offer good grip, handling, and longevity, making them well-suited for varied road conditions, including those in Rajasthan. Alternatively, if you're willing to spend a bit more for potentially better performance and longevity, the Bridgestone option might be worth considering. Bridgestone tires are known for their quality and reliability, and the extra investment could pay off in terms of longer tread life and better overall performance. do subscriber my channel if you like 🙂

What’s your thought on Yokohama S-drive and Continental UC6 tyres? Which one is best in handling and comfort?
@TrekBookIndia6 ай бұрын
Yokohama S-drive: - Focus: These tires prioritize handling and performance. They feature a sportier tread pattern and stiffer sidewalls for better grip during cornering and responsiveness. - Handling: Yokohama S-drives are known for their excellent handling, making them a good choice for drivers who enjoy a more spirited driving experience. - Comfort: The stiffer sidewalls and sportier tread might translate to a slightly firmer ride compared to comfort-focused tires. Continental UC6: - Focus: These tires offer a balance of performance with an emphasis on comfort and all-season capability. - Handling: The UC6 provides decent handling for everyday driving, but it might not be as sharp or responsive as the S-drive in high-performance situations. - Comfort: The UC6 prioritizes a smoother and quieter ride due to its softer compound and tread design. In a nutshell: - For the best handling: Yokohama S-drive is the clear winner. - For a balance of comfort and handling: Continental UC6 is a better choice. Hi sir I’m having Ford freestyle 185/60/r15 , I want to change my stock tyre good year… ford suggest good year triple max assurance 2 or continental cc6 which one is better ? Or can I use Yokohama earth 1/bridgestone sturdo mostly I drive in highways ? Kindly reply
@TrekBookIndia5 ай бұрын
Ford Freestyle with 185/60/R15 size, considering you mostly drive on highways: 1. Goodyear TripleMax Assurance 2: - Pros: This is the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) recommended tire for your Freestyle, which means it's designed to match the car's handling and performance characteristics. It offers a good balance of tread life, all-season capability, and wet weather performance. - Cons: Might not be the most exciting choice in terms of sporty handling or off-road capability. 2. Continental ComfortContact CC6: - Pros: Known for its quiet and comfortable ride, perfect for highway cruising. It also offers good wet weather performance and decent tread life. - Cons: Might not be the best choice for aggressive handling or sporty driving. 3. Yokohama Earth-1: - Pros: A good all-around tire with a focus on fuel efficiency, which can be beneficial for highway driving. It also offers decent wet weather performance and a comfortable ride. - Cons: May not be the most durable option for high-performance driving. Here's a recommendation based on your driving style: - If prioritizing comfort, quietness, and fuel efficiency for highway driving, the Continental ComfortContact CC6 or Yokohama Earth-1 are good choices. - If you value the OEM recommendation and a balance of performance, the Goodyear TripleMax Assurance 2 is a solid option. @TrekBookIndia5 ай бұрын
The Goodyear Assurance Maxguard could be a worth considering option for your Ford Freestyle, especially given your highway driving preference. Here's why: Reasons why Goodyear Assurance Maxguard might be a good fit: - Highway Suitability: It's designed with a focus on durability and improved wet performance, both important for highway driving. - Newer Technology: Being a new launch, it might incorporate the latest advancements in tread compounds and design for better performance. - Goodyear Brand Reputation: Goodyear is a well-respected tire brand known for quality and reliability. Here's how Maxguard compares to the previous options you considered: - Goodyear TripleMax Assurance 2: Maxguard might offer superior durability and wet weather performance, especially if it's a newer design. - Continental ComfortContact CC6 & Yokohama Earth-1: Maxguard might be more suited for highway driving due to its focus on durability, while CC6 and Earth-1 prioritize comfort and fuel efficiency.

Hello Sir, I have 2 questions. 1) First being I'm planning to buy Scorpio N new model which comes with 17 inches alloys and tyre profile being 245/65/R17 and im planning to upgrade them to 18 inches alloys with tyre profile being 255/60/R18. I am upgrading it for the looks. So do you think I should upgrade and would the upgrade in tyre size affect major mileage difference? 2) My second question is. What tyre brand and specific model should i go for? My main use would be in the city and highway. Pls suggest and reply sir. Thank you!
@TrekBookIndia7 ай бұрын
1. Upgrading Tires on Mahindra Scorpio N: You can upgrade the tires on your Scorpio N to 18 inches with a profile of 255/60/R18 for aesthetic reasons. However, there are some trade-offs to consider: - Mileage: A larger and heavier tire can slightly decrease fuel efficiency. - Speedometer Variance: Since the new tires are slightly larger in diameter, your speedometer might show a slightly lower speed than your actual speed. - Fender Rubbing: In rare cases, with very aggressive driving or a full load, there's a slight chance the tires might rub against the fender liners. - Performance: While barely noticeable, the handling might be slightly less sharp due to the taller sidewall flexing more. Overall, the impact on mileage and performance shouldn't be significant. 2. Tire Brand and Model Recommendations: - Michelin Primacy 4+ SUV: Offers a balance of comfort, handling, and all-season performance with good fuel efficiency. - Continental CrossContact LX Sport: Designed for SUVs with decent handling and all-season capabilities, but may lack an aggressive tread pattern. - Yokohama BluEarth AE51 SUV: Focuses on comfort, quietness, and fuel efficiency with good handling for city and highway driving. - Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus: Offers a sportier look with good all-season performance but may come with a higher price tag and slightly lower fuel efficiency. @TrekBookIndia Thank you so much for the quick response. I am confused between All Terrain Tyres and Highway Tyres. Which one should i go for? My primary use would be in the city and highway. So for that purpose which tyre should i go for? I have heard that All Terrain Tyres vibrate on cement roads or highways and also affects the mileage a little bit. And i won't be using the car for off roading purpose. So pls suggest between Highway tyre or All Terrain tyre for better stability on road and better mileage. And which model? Pls suggest. Thank you.
@TrekBookIndia7 ай бұрын
@@Shirish0444 For city and highway driving needs, prioritize highway tires for optimal fuel efficiency and performance on paved roads. They offer a smoother ride and reduced vibration compared to all-terrain tires. Highway Tire Benefits: 1. Focus on Mileage and Performance. 2. Smoother Ride with quieter tread pattern. 3. Reduced Vibration for a comfortable driving experience. Consider Michelin Primacy 4+ SUV, Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 SUV, or Yokohama BluEarth AE51 SUV for your Mahindra Scorpio N (18-inch), known for their balance of comfort, handling, and fuel efficiency.

@@jeevannanaiah1065 Yes, the all-terrain tires listed earlier can be suitable for your Hyundai Verna sedan class, even though they are typically designed for SUVs and trucks. I'm glad you found the video informative! When it comes to choosing new tires for your XUV 300, considering your driving habits, both on highways and off-road, it's essential to select tires that offer good performance and durability. 1. Michelin Defender LTX M/S: These tires offer a good balance between on-road comfort and off-road capability. They provide excellent traction in various conditions and have a long tread life, which means they should last a significant number of kilometers. 2. Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3: This tire is designed for both on-road and off-road performance. It provides good traction in different terrains, including gravel and mud, while still offering a comfortable ride on highways. It's known for its durability and long tread life. 3. Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar: These tires are built to handle a variety of road surfaces, including off-road trails and highways. The Kevlar construction enhances durability and puncture resistance, making them suitable for rugged use. 4. Continental TerrainContact A/T: This tire offers a good balance of on-road comfort and off-road performance. It's designed to provide excellent traction in both wet and dry conditions, as well as on rough terrain. The durable construction ensures a long lifespan. In terms of how many kilometers you can expect these tires to last, it largely depends on factors such as driving habits, road conditions, and maintenance. However, with proper care and regular rotation, you can typically expect these tires to last anywhere from 60,000 to 80,000 kilometers or more.

If you like my work, do subscrobe to my channel, currently I get only 100-200 subscribers a month which is not encouraging me to post more content 😔😢 Based on your preferences and driving conditions, here are some tire recommendations for your Kia Seltos: Tires: 1. Michelin Primacy 4 ST: * Pros: Excellent overall balance of comfort, noise reduction, dry/wet grip, and fuel efficiency. Ideal for your 50:50 city/highway driving with good performance in west and mid India's varied weather. * Cons: Slightly higher price compared to some other options. 2. Yokohama BluEarth AE-02: * Pros: Good balance of comfort, noise reduction, and wet/dry grip. Affordable option with decent highway performance for your frequent highway drives. * Cons: May not be as fuel-efficient as the Michelin Primacy 4 ST. 3. Continental ComfortContact CC6: * Pros: Excellent comfort and noise reduction, good wet grip. Suitable for prioritizing comfort on city drives. * Cons: Lower dry grip compared to other options, might not be the best choice for frequent highway driving. 4. Bridgestone Turanza T005A: * Pros: Good balance of comfort, noise reduction, dry/wet grip, and fuel efficiency. Offers decent performance across various driving conditions. * Cons: Might not be as quiet as the Michelin Primacy 4 ST or Continental ComfortContact CC6. Size: Upgrading to a 215/65 R16 tire size is a good option for slightly improved handling and ride comfort. However, make sure it doesn't rub against any parts of your car and consult your car's manual for compatibility. Brands: All four brands mentioned above are reputable and offer good quality tires. Ultimately, the best choice for you depends on your specific budget and priorities. Additional factors to consider: * Seasonality: If you experience extreme winters, consider all-season or winter tires for better performance in those conditions. * Load index: Choose a tire with a load index that can handle the maximum weight you typically carry. * Speed rating: Select a speed rating that exceeds your typical driving speeds for safety and stability. Recommendation: Considering your priorities and driving conditions, the Michelin Primacy 4 ST would be an excellent choice for you. It offers a well-rounded performance in all aspects you mentioned, including comfort, noise reduction, grip, and fuel efficiency. While slightly more expensive, it provides value for your money, especially with your frequent highway driving. However, if budget is a major concern, the Yokohama BluEarth AE-02 is a good alternative with decent overall performance. Remember to consult a tire dealer for professional advice and recommendations based on your specific needs and budget. They can help you choose the perfect tire for your Kia Seltos.

Here's a breakdown to help you decide on new tires for your Maruti Suzuki Celerio (165/70 R14) considering your situation: MRF ZVTV: - Pros: You're familiar with the ZVTV, known for its durability and affordability (might be a plus if you plan to keep the car for a while). - Cons: You've experienced three punctures in 6 years, which might be a concern. Additionally, the ZVTV might not offer the best comfort or fuel efficiency compared to some other options. Yokohama and Bridgestone: - Pros: Both Yokohama and Bridgestone offer a variety of tire options in your size that could provide better performance in terms of comfort, handling, or fuel efficiency compared to the ZVTV. They might also have improved puncture resistance. - Cons: Generally, these brands might be slightly more expensive than MRF. MRF ZLX: - Pros: An upgrade within the MRF brand, offering a better balance of performance compared to the ZVTV. It might provide some improvement in comfort, handling, and wet weather performance. - Cons: It might not be as puncture-resistant as some Yokohama or Bridgestone options, and it might not be the most fuel-efficient choice. Considering your situation: - Focus on City Driving: Since you mainly use the car in the city, prioritize comfort, fuel efficiency, and puncture resistance. - Occasional Road Trips: These factors remain important for occasional highway driving as well. Here's a recommendation based on your situation: - Yokohama BluEarth AE-51: Offers a good balance of comfort, fuel efficiency, wet performance, and decent puncture resistance. It might be a good all-around choice for your driving needs. - Bridgestone Turanza T001: Similar to the Yokohama option, offering a balance of comfort, fuel efficiency, and all-season performance. It might be another good contender. Remember: Even with puncture-resistant tires, proper tire maintenance (inflation checks and rotations) is crucial to minimize the risk of punctures. @TrekBookIndia6 ай бұрын
@@sumanthhv0217 Continental and Michelin: Pros: These are both premium tire brands known for their exceptional performance in various aspects like comfort, handling, noise reduction, fuel efficiency, and puncture resistance. They often rank highly in tire reviews and tests. Cons: They are generally the most expensive options among the ones you've considered. Considering your situation: Since your primary focus is city driving with occasional road trips, prioritizing comfort, fuel efficiency, and puncture resistance remains key. While Continental and Michelin offer superior performance in these areas, they might not be the most cost-effective choice for your needs.

Hi. I have a tyre which is in excessive wear towards outer end. Can I use this tyre with an ok tyre in driving front wheel?
@TrekBookIndia4 ай бұрын
It's strongly recommended against using a tire with excessive outer edge wear on the driving front wheel. Safety Risk: The outer edge wear reduces the tire's grip on the road, especially during cornering and wet weather conditions. This can lead to a loss of control and potential accidents. Uneven Handling: A worn tire will have a different diameter and rolling resistance compared to a good tire. This can cause the car to pull towards the side with the worn tire, affecting handling and stability. Reduced Braking Performance: Worn tires have a decreased ability to stop the car effectively, increasing braking distances and compromising safety. Since the front wheels are responsible for steering and a significant portion of braking, any issues with the tires in this position can be particularly dangerous. Recommendation: Replace the worn tire: This is the safest option. It's crucial to replace tires once the tread depth reaches the wear bars (usually around 2/32 inches of remaining tread). If both front tires are worn: Replace both tires at the same time. This ensures even handling and prevents pulling towards one side. Here are some additional points to consider: Never mix radial and bias-ply tires on the same axle. Ensure both front tires are the same size and brand, ideally with the same tread pattern. sir i have 195 /55/in ciaz zxi plus, should i upgrade to 205/55 ? and which brand is good for less noise and good enough life
@TrekBookIndia9 ай бұрын
Below answer is for Educational Purpose only and should not be considered professional advice. Upgrading to 205/55 R16 tires for your Ciaz ZXi Plus can be a good option if you prioritize certain aspects, but there are trade-offs to consider before making a decision. Here's a breakdown: Pros of Upgrading: * Improved handling: Wider tires generally offer better grip and cornering stability, especially during spirited driving. * Enhanced comfort: Taller sidewalls (compared to the stock 55 profile) can provide a slightly softer ride over bumps and imperfections. * Potentially better looks: Wider tires can fill the wheel wells more, giving your car a more aggressive stance. Cons of Upgrading: * Reduced fuel efficiency: Wider tires have higher rolling resistance, which can slightly decrease fuel economy. * Potential speedometer inaccuracy: Your speedometer might be slightly off due to the different diameter. Recalibration might be necessary. * May affect warranty: Check your warranty terms to ensure upsizing doesn't void it. * Potential rubbing issues: Make sure 205/55 R16 tires don't rub against any parts of your car, especially when turning or at full suspension travel. Brands for Low Noise and Good Life: Considering your priorities for noise reduction and lifespan, here are some reputable brands with good options: * Michelin Primacy 4 ST: Excellent balance of comfort, noise reduction, dry/wet grip, and fuel efficiency. * Continental PremiumContact 6: Quiet ride, good handling, and decent wet/dry traction. * Bridgestone Turanza T005A: Delivers a quiet, comfortable ride with balanced dry/wet grip. * Yokohama BluEarth AE-02: Affordable option with good noise reduction and decent overall performance. Recommendation: Before deciding, carefully weigh the pros and cons of upsizing. If improved handling and a slightly softer ride are important to you, and you're willing to accept the potential downsides, then upgrading to 205/55 R16 tires can be worthwhile. However, if fuel efficiency, warranty, and avoiding any potential fitment issues are crucial, sticking with the stock size (195/55 R16) might be the better choice. Additional Tips: * Consult your car's manual: Refer to the manual for recommended tire sizes and any upsizing limitations. * Talk to a tire professional: Seek advice from a reputable tire dealer who can consider your specific driving habits and preferences. * Consider test-fitting: If possible, try fitting 205/55 R16 tires on your car to check for any clearance issues. Ultimately, the decision depends on your individual priorities and driving style. By considering all the factors and seeking expert advice, you can choose the best tire size and brand for your Ciaz ZXi Plus.

Knowing your specific SUV model would help me provide a more accurate assessment. Your driving style and needs: Do you prioritize sporty handling, fuel efficiency, comfort, or durability? Different tire models excel in different areas. Your budget: The MRF Wanderer Sport is a mid-range tire, with other options available across varying price points. Terrain and weather conditions: Do you primarily drive in city traffic, on highways, or on rough roads? Do you need good wet or snow traction? Here's a general overview of the MRF Wanderer Sport 215/65 R16: Strengths: * Affordable: Offers good value for money compared to some other brands. * Durability: Known for its long tread life and puncture resistance. * Handling: Provides decent handling and stability for everyday driving. * Comfort: Offers a smooth and comfortable ride. * Wet grip: Performs well in wet conditions. Weaknesses: * Not the best for sporty driving: Might not offer the sharpest handling for enthusiasts. * Noise: Can be slightly noisy on some road surfaces. * Dry grip: While decent, may not be the best in terms of dry grip compared to some high-performance tires. Overall, the MRF Wanderer Sport 215/65 R16 is a good mid-range option for drivers who prioritize durability, comfort, and value for money. It's suitable for everyday driving in various weather conditions. However, if you prioritize sporty handling or excellent dry grip, other options might be better suited. To provide a more specific recommendation, I recommend you tell me: * Your SUV model * Your driving style and needs * Your budget * The terrain and weather conditions you typically drive in With this information, I can compare the MRF Wanderer Sport with other options and find the best tire for your specific needs. I hope this helps!

Which car tyre has the best side wall strength sir
@TrekBookIndia8 ай бұрын
Pinpointing a single tire with the absolute best sidewall strength is challenging due to various influencing factors, and manufacturers typically don't disclose specific sidewall strength ratings. Ingeneral you can look for - Reinforced Sidewall Construction: - Seek out tires marketed with terms such as "reinforced sidewall" or "sidewall protection." Higher Load Index: - The load index of a tire indicates its capacity to carry weight. A higher load index could imply a more robust sidewall construction capable of handling heavier loads, although it isn't the sole determinant of sidewall strength. Plz Note: While sidewall strength is crucial, it's just one aspect to consider. Opt for tires that strike a balance between sidewall strength and other essential factors such as Treadwear, Grip, Noise levels. If you like the content of my channel please do subscribe

You have two options for your Honda City VX tires: 1. Stick with Stock Size (185/55 R16): - Ensures optimal performance as intended by the manufacturer. - Benefits include balanced handling, fuel efficiency, and accurate odometer readings. 2. Upsize to 195/55 R16: - Offers slightly improved comfort and enhanced aesthetics. - Drawbacks include reduced handling, potential fuel efficiency decrease, and odometer inaccuracy. - Consider brands like Michelin, Continental, Bridgestone, or Goodyear for comfort-oriented tires. Recommendation: Considering comfort priority, upsizing to 195/55 R16 may be suitable, but consult your manual or mechanic to ensure compatibility. @@TrekBookIndia thanks sir already subscribed As 185 55 r16 are being produced by very few brands like bridgestone ecopia(low rated tyre by most) , goodyear(average rating) and yokohama blueEarth(soft compound, little pricey), i am left with only these 3 options , probably will go with yoko blue earth gt and wont upsize as cant take risk with car performance n handling( suspension) Your take on yokohama blue earth gt ? Have you heard about it ? Thanks in advance

@@amarharwani4424 The Yokohama BluEarth GT offers a balanced performance with improved fuel efficiency and a comfortable ride. While not the most sporty option, it provides decent grip for everyday driving. It comes from a reputable brand known for quality. However, it might be slightly more expensive compared to some alternatives. User reviews are generally positive, praising its overall balance and performance.
