Go with Vivo. Can't beat Zeiss when it comes to nightshot which reduces the lens glare. It's very obvious on Samsung in one of your comparison. Also, vivo's battery is lasting much longer. I have vivo x60pro and it can last me for 12 hours during the day time. My friend has Samsung S22 a few months later than me and he has to charge a few times during the day.

You cant deny the advantages of a larger sensor, and if you care only about photo camera, then yeah vivo is the better option, however as an overall package and features I find samsung almost impossible to beat in the android game, it's a monster with decent enough camera, and everytime I switch to huawei or xiaomi because of a great camera I miss many features, accesory compatibility and UI polishing from samsung, I don't really expect vivo to be different. also, as soon as GCAM mods starts to be optimized for every major phone along the road the differences in pohto quality become less noticeable since google photo proccesing is on another level.

First, great video, thanks for the hard work . I have looked to your video four times (this will improve your position in Google's algorithm 😉) and changed my mind ... four times and saw different strengths and flaws ... four times. First I was convinced I should buy the Vivo ... No doubt, then on the second look the S24, then again the Vivo ... Finally I bought the S24 this pm ... Why ? 1) first decision breaker : at 1:07, the S24 zoom is just incredible and I am living in the country side in France taking animals' pictures almost every day, deers, birds, etc... 2) second decision breaker : looking with more attention I found at 1:50 - 2:53 definitely that the Vivo colors are far too green, over saturated where the S24s' are more natural. 3) Selfies videos or pictures are in fact quite good with the S24 when you pay attention to details ... 4) Vivo's selfies video images are "burned" at 5:10, over exposed even if the S24s' are a little bit too dark, they are better 5) again at 5:56 - 7:12 on Vivo's screen the images are not natural they are over saturated, the S24s' are more natural. Stable mode is better in all situation on the S24. 6) at night at 8:27 the S24 zoom quality kills from far the Vivo. 7) Vivo is on the market since months now, it had the time to get some firmware updates, the S24 is just out now and will, without no doubt, fix most issues quickly with firmwares' updates. Then the more rational reasons : 8) I paid 1250 euros for the S24 ultra with 512gigs (which is far enough as I use a cloud every day to save my files) but with a samsung galaxy watch 6 40mm offered (that I will sell for around 160 euros), the phone insurance was offered for the next six months and a protection was also offered, I had an additional 5% rebate on the package using for the first time Samsung's shop mobile app and I also bought two samsung Tag 2 at 50% of their price (36 euros both instead of 120 ...) ... At the "real" price this would have costed me around 2k euros ... In real, the package have costed me around 1k and If I would have taken the replacement option, my iPhone 13 pro max in great condition would have been bought around 600 euros by Samsung and that S24 ultra 512gigs would have costed me around 400 euros ... Vivo can't beat that and is not offering any gifts. Last but not least ... 9) it will be much easier for me to sell that S24 at a better second hand price when and if I will want to sell it ... And I will because I am waiting for the next flip (not fold) generation that will at last integrate a great camera module and better battery life, the flip is the ultimate smartphone format for me, light, small, beautiful and with two screens and the external one is quite good no matter what some negative reviews may say (I have the Z Flip 5)... In the end I think the best choice for me at that exact moment (S24 launch time) was to take that S24 😉 Oh I almost forgot to mention ... I love retouching quickly but nicely and with the Pen , which is unique on Flagship Smartphone models ... this is making a huge difference ...

It could be a good test, but it seems to be a bit rushed, the zoom videos should be held a bit longer in order to better compare the 2 recordings. Can you put subtitles on the edited video? It would be nice to indicate which camera and which zoom position you used for each of your mobile photos (and videos as well), because this is not clear everywhere.

Only the photo 12Mp and Pro modes take pictures as previewed. I think theres a bug in the settings to keep intelligent image optimisation off/minimum. Cause everytime i take a picture using modes other than 12pm(photo) and Pro, such as 50M(photo), 200MP(photo), portrait mode etc. the picture gets brighter, conrast altered making colours look different. Samsung has implemented HDR into photos hence why colours are changing but why don't we see it in preview before shots taken and why can't we toggle it off. Best option is to use Pro mode everything. No need to use 200Mp cause digital zoom crop u down to 9mp. If you are cropping 200mp..take the picture first then in gallery zoom in , then use the button to the bottom left that appears after zooming (don't take screenshot as its a 1440p resolution n thus lower.

Ale ten aparat... względem S23 widać na plus, jednak w porównaniu do innych marek robią się "plecy". Nie wiem na ile nadchodzący update pomoże w poprawie jakości. Ogólnie myślałem o Vivo, ale wycofali się z Europy. Samsung s24ultra night video zoom was insane! How could you choose vivo? It is clear winner for samsung if you look back at footage 10x zoom on both the subject in vivo video was shaky while not for samsung! Even the 1080p on selfie video on vivo still show shake a lot ! But the photography focusing I think vivo wins here the detail on bird was more consistency on vivo!

Just to let you know there is a new firmware update on Vivo x100pro Chinese rom which allows you to take selfie camera with 4k up to 60 fps, I just updated mine 4-5 hours ago. lol

Surprised that portrait video is a clear win for Vivo. Expected Samsung to be a bit better but its cutout was bad. Your right ear being blurredout for example. Zoom max 10x looked the same for me. Photos Vivo wins. S24U probably one spot abive the S23U on my ranking list but falls behind many flagships like the Vivo, Oppo, Huawei and Honor

For the night zoom Vivo does not use the tele cam. Probably because too dark. Pro video mode should force it however.

About the pricing difference, assuming you want the x100 pro global variant then the current price from Wonda is £880. For the S24U 1TB it is possible to get this via preorder bonuses inc case, watch 6 and screen protectors for £1096 for many under bluelight, epp, student discount etc. No charger with samsung, both come with case, samsung better and additional screen protector, samsung comes with watch 6. So, apples to apples, if you assume you sell the watch for £150, then there is only a £66 premium for the samsung, but this has 1TB - granted you need to spend £30 on a 45w charger from amazon. Still, less than £100 difference. Dont get me wrong, I think the vivo front facing hardware setup is better, but front facing performance is a different bag entirely. Also, samsung resale values will retain better. Really, need to wait to see if there will be global releases for x100 ultra, x7 ultra and 14 ultra to see what will be the best overall phone for 24.
