@montedavis20402 жыл бұрын
I've never owned vehicles like these, but I've done over 140 on a Yamaha Vmax and in a Trans Am, and I found it more frightening in the Trans Am. The feeling of two tons moving that fast with you makes it scarier, IMO. The bike felt lighter and more capable. I'm sure the feeling changes when the horsepower numbers go into the stratosphere as with these cars and bikes.

What's brake boosting
@edwinherrera69594 жыл бұрын
Nate Haji In simple terms, you make the turbo spool while maintaining speed so that you launch faster.
@BrendanEvan4 жыл бұрын
@@shmoofgang its when people partially hold the brake pedal down while in gear and also pressing down on the throttle pedal. Because they basically cancel each other out, the speed the car travels stays the same BUT by forcing the engine to work harder and produce more exhaust gases it spools up the turbo. Once the driver lets off the brake pedal and simultaneously floors the throttle, the turbo is making boost and the car accelerates immediately. (compared with the time and acceleration you otherwise sacrifice by waiting for a large turbo to spool. It only really applies to turbos that need time/help to spool) Hope that helps!
