Jason, I like this kind of test. Side by side with no ifs about it. Quick and to the point. I've noticed the Bluetti solar panels seem to be coming up short. I'm a fan of their power stations and have 3 of them for camping and home. But their panels might be using the name value too much as a selling point. I hope they improve the performance to match their power stations. There is a lot of competition out there. Thanks again for the quality post.

I've had the Bluetti PV200 for over a year and I've never gotten real decent power from it. It's not been used much either! Maybe it's a dud and I need to seek a replacement... 140w isn't close to the rated power.

@@Jasonoid There's a lot like this. The 200w AllPowers Mono panels are around 130w also. My Bluetti PV420s seem to be very good though, I've had 400w out of those often and I'm sure they'd make more. My Vigorpool Captain 1200s have a max input of 400w. I'll be able to test more when I get my Zendure Superbase V. It's worth noting also that I have 3x PV420 and two of them are very good, one seems to make about 30w less than the other two but it's still a good performer

@@Jasonoid Just an idea for a video, but I’d love to see how you set up your testing equipment. I have the AC power meter and a DC tester, but from the DC tester I’m not sure how to wire it to the batteries to test 100w+. I’ve managed to plug in to simple USB, but that’s a 3a limit. I tried USB C but it didn’t work for me. It’s probably something to do with the DC ports or cigarette lighter? But I have no idea how do set it up with the tester. Cheers

​@@JasonoidGetting up to 180W on mine with a EB3A which I'm certain is a limiting factor due to the current limit of 8.5A. Using only 2 segments out of 4 of the PV200 I regulary get 99W so I wouldn't be surprised if it can get over 190W on a more capable MPPT charger.

For the price difference, then the difference in output, it's definitely Oukitel for the win! We all know power stations are just useless boxes without their source input. The better the power, the better the input. I love the comparison videos! Thank you. Jason!

@@Jasonoid I did some testing a few weeks ago and hit 170w peak on a hazy day like yours. XTAR 150w gave me around 160w so it's just a bit less than the Bluetti though from what I can see, that's basically a de-rated 200w panel (same size as the Bluetti)

Yeah, The Sun is shining! That's another good review. I have hooked in parallel a cheap Dokio 110 panel with the Bluerise and pull about 150 on a good Sun day. The Dokio is not near the quality of the two you tested, but so far so good.

The Dokio is CHEAP. The ones I have tested put out decent power for the cost. I only not sure about their long term reliability.

Very good, no faff, review. I have a Bluetti pv200 and am very disappointed with the output performance. I honestly thought it might have a fault but your test comparison confirms that the Bluetti is just not all it makes out to be.

@@Jasonoid Actually i just bought the Elecaenta 120W foldable panel for my purpose. I do bike packing overnights, so I travel with my ebike, cargo trailer, and I carry the panel and the Bluetti EB70s.

Thanks for putting out this head-to-head comparison out. Encourages manufacturers to keep improving their products. My Bluetti PV200 panel puts out over 160W on a bright sunny day, as reported by my EB70S or Yeti 1250. Still not as much as the Oukitel, but better than your unit. I’d ask if they would exchange yours. I find the floppiness due to having only three legs annoying. I’m sure they didn’t save much by doing that, and it seems to stress that hinge more than the other two.

I'm glad you are seeing more power from yours than mine. I did have a few high clouds to drop the power maybe 5 watts or so, 145 watts still would be a little low for how expensive the panel is.

Would love to see a video showing how much power you could get from say an eco-flow 220w panel inside a window, for those that don't have an outdoor space. Wonder if it would be enough power to charge up a battery for a 10-50w laptop for a few hours.

The 220w panel is pretty big, you'd have to have a large glass sliding door, maybe a 100w sized panel would be a better candidate?

Hi Jason, i've had a Bluetti PV200/Eb55 for just under a year now and have seen quite a drop off in performance (>30% in max output) i'm struggling to get over 100w in full no clouds direct sun. Bluetti support/warranty are not interested as they say this is a normal amount of degradation. I feel ripped off as these are not cheap. They say on their own website these can last over 25 years with care. I wonder if you could do a video on the expected degradation of portable panels? I can't seem to find any info online about it. They have not very light and not continuous use and stored inside. The zip up pocket to store the cables also failed very quickly as its a poor design where a poor quality zip designed to run in a straight line is forced to bend around corners. I would not recommend Bluetti panels to anyone based on my experience of the quality and support.

My panel also has seen a large drop in performance. I just picked up a replacement to see if I'm crazy. I'll continue to do more testing. I use many different panels while camping and I haven't seen large degredation after a year.

They are coming out with a new model to rival the Anker 767 so I am planning to test that one later this year. I didn't have time to review the 5000wh beast! It's pretty similar to the P2001 except it has more battery capacity

You'll have to lug around a glass rigid panel for that price. Maybe someday we will get high quality portable panels for that price but right now they are $2 per watt or more.

I'm spreading the gospel of 12v fridges. If I get a new truck in a couple of years. I'll have to use one of my Engels or both. They wont allow us to remove the passenger seat anymore. 🙁
