Thanks for the video Bob! Very helpful. Exact same procedure for a 2023 GX. Front access from the bottom was easy. For the rear, I didn't use a plastic trim piece in fear of cracking the light housing. Instead, I used a small suction cup meant to fix dents. Directly pull back. Gently and with caution, it came out.

So i recently bought a gx and turn signals had condensation in them.purchased 2 off amazon plus led bulbs. They are really easy.just go from under the front and u can see one 10mm bolt.unscrew it.then from the front of car use plastic tool to pry out starting with the side closest to center,then work way outside and it pops right out with assembly an bulb.untwist bulb,replace,then pop back in .easy peasy

Keep in mind, replacing the tail lights with super bright LED turn signals can cause the person behind you to flip you the middle finger. Speaking from experience, of course.

Going in from under is the way to go. My arms aren't long enough for the top-down approach. Thanks for the great video. To the point and no fluff. Also wondering if the front wheel wells on your GX leave a part of the valve covers exposed to the elements? My '21 looks as if it is missing the middle section splash shield right behind the shock tower.

@@mgbluray Hey! I chose not to post the link because the lights I purchased created a hyper blink effect. I added text to the video to emphasize the purchase of error-free canbus lights instead. My attempt was trial and error. I returned the light bulbs and will be looking for new lights.

I did....i just recently tried to maneuver a 21 foot camper trailer with the bedroom compartment slid out and ended up cracking my tail light lense in the process. Hence the new video on Sports trim tail light install.

Hello GX*BOB, my 2020 GX' turn signal lever does not seem to work properly for lane changes. It should allow the driver to move the lever partway, release it, resulting in 3 or 5 flashes to change lanes. Do you have any information on how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure what other 2020 GX you're comparing your 2020 with but a partial turn signal only blinks as long as you are partially holding it down temporarily. It does not do a continual 3 or 5 blinks. My 2017 definitely doesn't do that.

Thanks again. In my 2010, there are amber bulbs in the headlight assembly on the sides, both of which have gone out. Do you know if these are classified as part of the turn signals, or what they would be called?

Hey Matt, i went and bought 2 more sets of bulbs. One with built-in resistors and one normal LED. I tried both sets and they both created hyperblink. This will require an additional set of external resistors installed in-line between the bulbs and the car's harness. Not sure if i want to go further by investing more money just to get an additional pair of LED's. I know installing one set will work so its a matter if whether you want to install the working set in the front or in the rear. But all 4 installed is going to get expensive.

Gave up after loosening the top edge but couldn't get the rest of the light to come off. Too scared I'd break the edge using the same scraper. Any ideas?

you really need to use a very wide plastic scraper. If its not coming off, use 2 very wide scrapers. Sometimes it gets really stuck because its never been removed since day 1. Mine was difficult to remove too at first. Now its super easy since its been removed a few times.

I got my installing yesterday I checking them on the emergency lights when I install it was fine but today I driving my car & realize that turn signal is flickering faster & I try on the emergency light they flashing normal. Is that happening to you too? Or what I did wrong?

that's because your car is recognizing a foreign light bulb that doesn't have the same resistance as your oem bulbs. You need to buy one that says "error free canbus" in its title. I believe i mentioned that in the body of my description.

Thats why i included in my description of the after-the-fact issue and iterated to purchase the lights that advertise as error free canbus. It was too late to go back and re-edit the video. Good thing Amazon has a really good return policy. Hope that helps.

No. Those are for your interior lights. Those are too small.
