Sounds good. Thinking about doing this to mine. Do you have the resonators still on?
@MegaHowtoMan Жыл бұрын
It didn't have resonator. Just big mufflers.

The "L99" and the "LS3" are two different motors buddy.

Have you lost any horsepower or low end torque?
@MegaHowtoMan7 ай бұрын
None. Brings the engine alive.

If anything, it just adjusts the power and torque curve; hence why it might “feel” faster or more responsive sometimes. But really, you do in fact free up horsepower, but it’s more so from reducing the more obstructive obstacles in the exhaust stream (ex: cat converters). For example, if I went with something like 2” long tube headers, and a 3” catback; I’d probably end up possible wanting chambered mufflers, just to keep some back pressure for scavenging and low end torque.

@@MegaHowtoManhow’s the drone in the cabin?
@youknow93283 ай бұрын
Mine is stock with a muffler delete and it’s minimal. The pops on deceleration are much more notable tho. But drone…not really noticed until around 3k but with all them gears you can pick your sound lol. At 75 in 6th it’s way quieter than my powerstroles by far 😂

Sounds wimpy....go flowmasters catback outlaw for the win.

Have you driven this beast? That 6.2L has loads of torque. Now it can breath.

Definitely not losing any torque

I just installed the same kit on my 2013 ss. The drone is kinda annoying so I'm thinking about getting a J pipe installed .

Is yours an automatic? I didn't experience any done with mine but it does go into high gear more than I like. Still a beast of a motor.
