2010 dodge avenger 2.4 Misfire/skipping at idle and driving (Solved)

Mine is the exact same car and it’s been down for goodness….. over a year!!!! I’ve replaced both throttle pedal, and throttle body. It keeps saying there’s a correlation between the throttlebody and throttle pedal sensor A and sensor B. I’ve done research and your right!!!! There are not many videos at all or information about these cars. I’d love to get it back on the road. Thanks for your video. I’ve also replaced all coil packs and plugs but I could still check them out again just in case.

I discovered it was the connector on it that had a shortage in the wire , it solved it

2010 Dodge Avenger was in limp mode. Had a bad computer. New ECM did the trick.

Would yours start to skip while driving. Cut the car off and back on. And the skip would stop?

I have a 2010 dodge avenger I can drive for like 10 mins before the engine light flashes and the car starts to slow down . Once I stop the car it starts shaking really bad and goes limp. My brother replaced the throttle body and it’s still doing the same thing 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Sounds like your cable linkage It works from the gear to the transmission sounds like it came loose

Check your shift cable bushing. I had the issue a while back and it's because my bushing disappeared. It's a 15 dollar fix.

These things are notorious for having a bad TIPM. it will mess your car up. Does all kinda stupid stuff. I had to disconnect my horns

I have an 09 avenger and it sputters when you start it, it has new coils,plugs fuel pump, still does the same stuff, I cant find the fuel filter, it coughs at idle and when driving it will lose power and when I let off throttle it kinda comes back. I dont know what else to try.
