Hi, do you know if the ecu controls the rpm limiter my 09 model doesn’t go above 28-900 rpm in neutral and in gear, no shake or anything out of the ordinary when max revd just curious if you’d know if it’s time to change ecu to fix this or something else. Please and thank you!!!!!

So you're saying it will only idle, basically? Idle speed would be around 650 rpm. You put the accelerator down and it only revs to 900 rpm? Am I understanding this correctly?

It will be on the opposite side of the throttle cable. If it's 'Fly by wire', i.e ElectronicTthrottle Controller it will be integrated into the Controller.

I don't specialise in these trucks so I can't answer that question. That said, manufacturers don't usually make drastic changes from model to model unless the previous design cost them a fortune in warranty claims. They conform to; if it's not broken, don't try to fix it. So, it's probably very similar.
