wym? 2023 was the best year in this decade so far. hi fi rush, re4make, dead space remake, zelda tears of the kingdom redeeming the banjo kazooie nuts and bolts vehicle making concept, pizza tower finally came out and was a phenomenal speed platformer, cassete beasts was a memorably great pokemon clone, balder's gate 3 was basically a full-on digital dnd campaign, street fighter 6, battlebit brought back the style of older battlefield games, and the best 2d mario game in years is gonna release alongside a new 2d sonic. of course, we also got shite like gollum and forspoken to balance things out, but still a solid year in gaming overall.
