Thanks for the vid. Got it done and lights are off! Just a tip for similar to what Mr. Lavoie said, once you take the lower control arm bolt out you can manuever the sensor out without taking anything else apart. Pull the carrier out as far as you can and push the axle in enough to get one of the tabs through the hole then you can pull the sensor out sideways through the hole. New one goes in the same way. Other tip: if you are using hand tools the hub will spin before you can loosen the castle nut. Either loosen it before removing the brake caliper and have someone apply the brake or you can pop the center of the hubcap out and put the tire back on, lower to the ground and loosen it with tire on.

Do you have to replace the axel when putting on a the rear driver's side sensor. The garage I took it too says I can't just replace the sensor, which is obviously cheaper to fix without putting a brand new axel in it. Having same issue u did. So why can't we just replace the sensor?

Both say the abs module is at fault. Isn’t there a reader that can see which wheel is communicating speed and which one aint? I would think they looked at that. If they think that's high what would they say about our 2010 F150 pick up with 293,00 on it? Scrape it. I get so fed up with always being told Oh well its a high miler.
