Good review. My 17 yr old son is looking at one of these. My hate is this era of cars not having proper gauges like oil pressure, engine temp and voltage. A belt breaks and all you get is a "check engine ".

should I buy a 2010 g37 with 199k miles but it’s always been taken to the Infiniti dealer for services, and it’s a 1 owner car the owner is a old lady btw. should I buy it? She’s asking for 4.9k

Pay the $100 for a pre purchase inspection. If it checks out, I'd say absolutely.

Not at all! These engines can easily go to 200k miles. Especially the late model ones with improved piston sleeves and rings (double check me on that).
