nobody can diss the m5 it set the stranded the XFR is brand new but the M5 is from 2005 and the XFR has been especially bulit to beat the M5 and it only beat it by three tense of a second thats week but still both have great engines that supercharged V8 is one of the best on the market hand down!!

The Interior of the Jaguar XF-R is not complicated. It's clean. Jaguar is beginning to build more modern looking cars. I think the electronic opening/closing vents and the automatic shift knob will be a winner. Push Button Start. Smooth Blue LED Lighting.

i think i'd get this over a cts-v. i read a review that said the cts-v is just too brash most of the time. the jag manages to be comfortable/soft when you want it to be.

Haters (especially that aussie) are always underwhelmed because it's a few tick slower than it's rivals in some aspects. I think Luke needs to let it go, it just never ends. But I stand by what I say. Just because it's not better than the benchmark(in everyway) doesn't mean it's terrible.

Looks pretty sweet looking. I wouldn't go with white though, because it would show dirt, nor would I want to go with red. Red cars have a tendecy to get pulled over a lot. I'd go with black or maybe even a blueish.

"Roll out" where the car is allowed to roll for a certain amount of time or distance before the timing begins. At a Race track it's normally 1 foot.

um whoever says the m5 is crap compared to the xfr is extremely unintelligent. the xfr is supercharged with 0-60 in 4.5, while the m5 is naturally aspirated V10 with 0-60 at 4.8. now imagine what kind of power the m5 would have if it was supercharged or had an aftermarket twinturbo kit on it. pssht. m5 is king of the sedans. always will be

Ye the interior are so fresh and clean and you ride better than in an M5 and look more grown up. i want one to, if not the XFR i whould go for the diesel.

The M5 has set the performance benchmark for all of these sedans for the last 15yrs. However, I wouldn't count out the RS6 with AWD. It'll out perform any of these sedans under bad weather conditions.

This car looks so good and has power, it makes the 5 series styling look bland, not to mention the interior. I love an inviting interior with nice wood trims and soft leather. Give me that car!

that doesn't mean much. Jaguar don't sell as many cars as other companies, that's why there are sell cars to break down. Also Jags are highly known to be always in the shop such as Range Rovers..British can't build reliable cars. And lastly their lineup is only a few years old so there is very little reliability history. One thing I read is that the interior of XF is all electrically controlled which created a lot of problems if the battery dies.

again hockonvict, i mentioned that m5 is naturally aspirated. meaning the engine relies solely on atmospheric pressure to draw in the air needed to combust the fuel. btw the caddys engine is actually 1.2 liters bigger than the m5. so more room for forced induction aka supercharging/turbocharging .if you were to add any boost to the cars powertrain performance, it will smoke any performance sedan technically and it'll just be more badass. thugangel u speak the truth.

i don't have to apologize because of the way i was taught to speak. look around you buddy. last time i checked, italians and germans pronounce jaguar properly as well. and plenty of languages were changed slightly when imported overseas. look at spanish in latin america, or portugese in brazil. like the differences between british english and american english, there are subtleties. but i don't think the spanish are going all over the internet making fun of the way mexicans don't say vosotros.

So what? It has 2 more cylinders and costs more what does that justify? Interior in the CTS-V is better especially with the Recaros and personally I find the exterior styling also more pleasing on the eyes. And the CTS-V has more torque, which is a beautiful thing. Remember CTS-V = fastest 4-Door sedan around the Nur

Yeah, BMW developed the Land Rover Freelander, the current Range Rover, the Land Rover Discovery (it has a different name in the us), the Rover 75, etc... and Ford cashed. Ford did develop the XF but this R version is "indian", so to speak...

How? They only up the reliability, even Brits say that VW and BMW haven't made those cars worse. Both still offer class leading comfort and luxury, now they are faster and have better reliability, that's not ruining. Ruining cars is like what GM did to Saab, they don't give Saab good parts or engineering and they keep Saabs just as bad as the last one.

Yeah 0-60 4.1 in 2006 and then it still took 3 years to make that car and with a V10 this is Jags FIRST new car... and it can match the M5 and is alround better to drive. It has better looks better sound, better ride, cheaper...

The Caddy CTS-V and Mercedes E63 AMG perform better while sounding better and more muscular. Not to mention, i cant wait to watch how the upcoming 2011 BMW M5 eats this thing for breakfast.

Number of cylinders isn't even so importand as cubic capacity. CTS-V, doesn't slap the M5 like a rag doll, not really. It's only a tiny little bit faster. According to Motortrend, only by 0.1 sec. Big DEAL. CTS-V is the fastest 4 doord sedan around Nurburgring and THE ONLY sedan around Nurburgring whose lap time was made by its own manufacturer. Also, thr current M5 is very old. The new one is coming - 4.4 V8 tt and it'll be producing 554 HP.

Few things are more silly than US and UK arguing who spells what right or wrong. Both of them spell almost everything kinda 'wrong', b/c they stick to the famous "invention" of writing one way and spelling another way. (English took that stupidity from French in medieval BTW.)

Hell Yeah CTS-V Bitches!!!!! The Jag is very nice, especially that back end, and the fit and finish is pretty good as well. But we'll see what the tag is after all the options. One things 4 sure It'll be alot cheaper than an M5 or C63 AMG.
