I used to have one of these, 10 years ago. It was a brilliant car tbh. 50-70 was amazing…subsequently I’ve had a E63 S AMG and currently a C7 RS6 Performance. Out of the 3 the XFR is my favourite.

What an idiot for getting rid of it.. I have a Xfrs since 2014 and I’m never going to sell it. You get fed up with that you will get fed up with anything.

I've also just bought one and it's an incredible piece of kit. Super fast on the overtake, incredibly poised on the backroads, and beautifully understated. And of course, it's a Jaguar not a BMW, which is a huge positive.

How's the reliability? I love the way it looks and it's more of a street car then a track weapon, which i like. I don't want to try and track a sedan. It would be something more purpose built

I agree with the other guy, the pre face lifts are my favorite. I think it's cool too that they were still made by Jaguar not Jag Land Rover cause the name change was jan 2013. I also like the Bowers And Wilkins system (vs meridian) in my 2011. I believe 2013 was the first year for the XFR S which dethroned the XFR as the top trim XF, but personally I really like the 6 speed transmissions in my XFR, while the XFR S is amazing with 8 speed auto I find for me 6 speed is perfect in a manual and so it's perfect in an auto, in my opinion obviously.

@@juan857 only things that you’ll have to replace is the water pump with the updated part from the newer model and the coupler in the supercharger snout. That’s the only thing that I had to do with my 2014 XJR

In January, I placed an order for an XF R Dynamics with a JLR dealership in California. Waited 4 months for Jaguar to commit and had to give up after 4 months. Then waited 2 months for Volvo to accept an order for S90 T8. No luck either. Looking forward to the debut of the Polestar 5 in 2024/25.

Forgot to mention, excellent review of the XFR! Reminded me of some of the reasons why I wanted to order one in the first place. Thanks!

I think I read about the design that the headlights were supposed to be a nod to the dual round headlights of the older Jag saloons that preceded this XF. I actually appreciate the looks more after I learnt that
