I love mine. Had it almost 6 years and only had to replace heater button. Runs great and no rattles. The milage and cost of maintenance is pricey but worth it.

We never once implied that, we just want in-market consumers to simply know you must pay extra for a lot of equipment on German brands. Too many people simply see the low starting price but forget that most of the features you want cost extra. We love brands from everywhere, it doesn't matter which country it's from.

Most of our vehicles we film come from dealerships. It's how we started this channel and it will continue to stay. We simply have good relationships with this dealer and some other dealers around our area. Acquiring access to press cars isn't as easy and they will leave you waiting for quite some time which is why we've gone back to dealership access. Thanks for your understanding, we do still have plans to film new vehicles.

@@TD-il6ju Yes, it is fast or at least faster than my '97 or '08 CR-V. The only thing is that I won't stress test this gem all the time because Mercedes' repair costs are not known to be cheap. I'll put the pedal to the metal and use its 268 muscle power only in cases of emergency, such as to avoid an accident.

The GLK offers features that are un-available on the RDX. It also makes this vehicle much more expensive. We can't say it's better, it really depends on your budget and preferences. We will say that most of our staff would prefer the X3 or Q5 over this vehicle.

Only you can make that choice as they're both excellent cars, it just boils down to what you prefer. Test drive several examples of both and if you can look for a CPO or purchase an extended warranty. Both are excellent in terms of ride, handling, features, style and capability.

You need to remember that the Lexus RX350 isn't a compact sport utility, it's a mid-sized sport utility vehicle. The RX was designed from the beginning to compete with the ML. Lexus still doesn't have a CUV yet. The GX is a large SUV.

I actually prefer the MB Tex. Easy to maintain and condition and it wears more evenly than leather. The majority of E Classes have MB Tex and many owners love it.

The CT and ES both come with Lexus' Nuluxe faux leather in the rather basic models. Its not a terrible thing either because it usually feels just as nice and holds up better in the long run. I just find it funny how the Germans always get called cheap for it.

Agree, re the solidity feel. Unless one drives they cant feel it. The V6 is going into oblivion. If any one has this V6 or GLK 250 diesel , hold on to them. THey are built like tanks. These small sub compact SUV s weigh as much as a minivan. Yes. They do. They are not making these gems any more. These are not racing cars but well built, solid and heavy and solid feel.

That One Ford Guy I wouldn't say lower class and that doesn't make much sense when you say "people who want a Mercedes but can't afford one" as this is a Benz. It's definitely basic but it has all of the things that made MB famous in the first place. It's solid and well built and you do feel it when going down the road or hell even when you close the doors. It's also safe and it's a refined package altogether. Sure it doesn't have the latest tech but let's be honest nobody really needs backup camera, lane departure warning and a host of other nannies that could fail. This SUV and the C Class won't break the bank to maintain but still be a cut above the rest which is definitely a win in this category.

I have a synthetic leather in my SE Accord its not bad, just a little harder compared to real lather. Over time it gets softer though

My dad has an 07 Jetta with VW's VTEX leatherette and honestly after 81k it looks and feels exactly like it did the day we bought it. Even the BEST leather gets some kind of ass sag or wear on it after 100k yet faux leather hold up fine. I don't get why some people are so pretentious they can't see that.

well the price tag is cheaper, and the maintainence and parts cost is much cheaper compared to Germany. But the main reason people buy Japanese cars are because they are about 10 grand cheaper than a equivalently loaded German competitor.

I have a 2014 GLK350. If you have a problem with this car and does not produce an error code, Mercedes will tell you since there no code, there is no problem. The problem is in your imagination. Then the dealer will tell you to take it to a different dealer.....in other words they tel you to take your business someplace else. Remember, no code no problem. The mechanics do not know how to diagnose a problem.......sort of reminds me of a cashier at Walmart not knowing how to count you change back. I keep getting a letter from them that they want to sell me another and trade mine in. Well, why would I want to buy another when they can’t fix the one I have?
