These ford 3.0s are actually great engines and way better to work on than a lot of other brands.

Great step-by-step method to remove intake manifold cover...I was at my wits end trying to get that thing off so I could get to the back bank of spark-plug. Thanks man.

I'm on day four as of right now trying to simply get that lower bolt off you have the long socket on. I just can't get range but after work today I'm going to try something I observed you have done. Best freakin video on this engine I have seen. And I've got a search history from here to the moon.

That sensor on the back cover on the egr side is the pcv valve.. CHANGE IT

Awesome video! I'm at the same stage to replace an injector (not gaskets for the valve covers, etc.)... I'm replacing plugs And one injector for Cylinder 6; my question is: do I replace all six injectors considering the amount of work to get at these things?

No I would just replace that one. If you can afford to replace all that would be great. Also check the wire harness for the injectors. It would great idea to replace the sub-harness. I had a intermittent stall and found a injector wire insulation that was falling apart. I don't know for sure that caused the stall but it could.

Great video! I have replaced fuel injectors of my Fusion 3.0L V6 twice, and both times the pressure regulator of the fuel pump throttle has failed, causing long starts when the engine is warm. Does anyone have any idea what could have happened to the pressure regulator to fail? Is there a secret trick to depressurizing the fuel line or re-pressurizing it before starting the engine?

Did you try a Ford part yet? Maybe the aftermarket regulator is a poor quality part.

@@chriskolar Unfortunately I did not find it on the Brazilian market... But the first one to fail was the original part (about 10 years of use).

@@FSchimidtBR I'll need a lot more info to find a part. Year make model engine vin #. The US market uses a fuel pressure sensor and a control module to regulate the fuel pressure.
