Holy fuck. These guys are on the gas so much harder than the current riders. These guys are hauling ass. The current pros need to watch this video. The racing is way better than anything I’ve seen in the last 3 years.

the bikes are much more powerful now so they physically can’t go any faster without wrecking. It sucks that most people can’t keep up with people like Chase and Jett the are quite literally just do good for anyone to challenge

@@Noah_Baker_49 it’s good for Chase and Jett but it’s not good for the sport. The way they tip toe half throttle around corners now standing up is impressive to the hardcore fan who rides but ultimately this lack of excitement will kill the sport. We need to get back to bar banging, stuffing each other gritty type racing like moto used to be. Maybe Deegan will bring some grit to the 450 class again.

@@Nerff554 if everyone can stay healthy for a season the racing will be good tbh. Imagine guys like tomac, Webb, Kenny, and all then if the didn’t get injured it would be like a 4 way battle for the championship

That’s what it looks like getting to watch two of the greatest all time go at it in their primes. We don’t really have multiple generational talents now like we did back then. Now we have Jett but no one really compares to his speed besides maybe Deegan. So we’ll see when they’re both on 450’s but yeah they used to rip back in the day that’s just how everyone rode. Now guys like to manage their pace a little more so they can maintain energy for late race battles. Which is smart, just not as entertaining for the fans to watch lol

I think the tracks were bigger and there were less ruts but i love watching these races way more then todays as well

brett metcalfe is retiring after this weekend after racing Australian MX PRO title he still finished in the top 5 last week and he,s got to be near 50 years old
