You all got robbed of a one seed as well. You should have had Dukes 1 seed and we never should have met in the elite 8. I wont lie, this was probably the most painful loss I can remember. We had been mediocre for over 8 years and now Cal came in and we were loaded and only lost 2 games all year. We all thought the title was ours, especially after KU got eliminated in the second round vs Northern Iowa. Congrats on this game but I still say we were the better team.

The better team won period. WVU has the NBA logo. Can Kentucky say that? Kentucky is all one and done. WVU has an excellent football and basketball program. Kentucky is just a NBA player factory.

Lifelong Cat fan here, but I give major prop's to Coach Huggins for making the call to go zone on UK for much of the game. West Virginia's zone absolutely stymied UK. For most of this game, if UK had been shooting for shit they wouldn't have got a whiff.

Wow, you are bragging about having a player as the NBA logo and putting Kentucky down for sending people to the NBA. Contradicting yourself there quite a bit buddy. UK has 8 titles, can WV say they have even 1? UK has the most wins all time, best win %, most tournament wins ect. Yeah you won the game and did nothing afterwords. We put you out the next year on the way to the final four and won the title the year after that. Congrats on making your 2nd final four. We have 15.

Also you had a good team but dont act like this was not a fluke game. You came into the tournament as the worst 3 point shooting team in the ENTIRE thing and scored nothing but 3 point baskets in the first half. UK missed their first 20 threes, the worst in school history. If we played this game 10 times UK would win 7. The beauty of the tournament is its only one game and you guys were better for that game period.
