I know its 4 years old but yeah, whata 1 sided review lol. We dont care what you like/dislike about the Z cars. I own the exact same car but its black. They're known for the rough shifting or trying to get the butter shift as some say. They made this car so you feel everything. You feel like your connected to the car. I dont know i always have fun in mine. I keep up with maintenance and never had 1 serious issue come up yet. Just a fun car.

I just got a 2019 370Z sport coupe 6-MT in black with a black interior. This car far surpasses a Porsche 944S that I had about 25 years ago. The torque from this engine is so flat and strong that a manual transmission is almost superfluous in such a light car.

Terrible Review id take this down this is the 4th Generation of the Z man WTF!!!! Datsun in the 70s and they bought it back in 2003??? So the Nissan Z31 300zx and Z32 300zx what are those? The 350 is badged Z33 and the 370z is Z34 and HOW DO YOU FORGET THE CLUTCH DAMNNN this hurts to watch

Datsun, now Nissan has always had the conceptual series of the "Z" cars, having subtle body changes and styling, while still giving homage to the original look and feel of the first one, but each car will have its on flare and uniqueness. This Review guy should probably understand this.

Love the 370Z. As for the "unrefined" engine, thats why people love VQ's, the sound is amazing in high revs,bashing a VQ for its high RPM sound is like bashing Honda's Vtec when it hits cause it gets louder and much harsher.

Auto-blib downshift is sure handy, but I think it is also sad, most people who don't know how to rev-match downshift would probably forget about learning it at all if they ever own this car. Call me old fashioned but I just loved driving stick, as a driving enthusiast, that's what driving is all about, skill and fun! :D Btw, rev-matching downshift isn't really that hard, to me, my biggest challenge is mastering heel-toe downshift :)

Other than the rattling at idle, I think the exhaust sounds fantastic. I'm not hearing any truck sounding exhaust either. It would be awesome if trucks sounded like this!

It's exhaust gas drone (from revving) or the exhaust touching something underneath, or a muffler heat-shield vibrating.

Instead of thinking Mustang and Genesis as alternatives, just get a G if you want back seats. Z is supposed to be a lot cheaper than G but damn, Zs are pretty expensive lately which makes G a very good value.

Sometimes its not even the expected things, things just tend to go wrong and to get them fixed can be pricey. We have Lexus, Acuras, and BMWs in our family, the Japanese ones are fine, the BMW 330i my uncle had was giving a lot of problems and it got to the point where it started needing repairs too much and that's where it gets too expensive. He got frustrated and ended up trading it in for Nissan Maxima and he's happy with it.

Nice review. This car sounds like it's been ragged on though, leased for 2 years and abused. That howling sound might be the wheel bearings or just tires and the exhaust is going to need welding or new mounts/brackets.

Personally, I really dislike the Syncro Rev Match. The 370z I drove had it, which I was unaware of, so when I was slowing to a stop sign I clutched and went ahead and threw it in first (still holding the clutch), and it revved up. I may have been that it startled me, but I'm used to normal MT's.

I think I like this more than the mustang its a lot more upscale and sportier and just more unique but still its a hard choice for me. I know I like it a lot more than the challenger and the camaro!

cracks me up when people say the wheel does'nt telescope that it's hard to get in a driving position. Really? thats what the seat adjustments are for.

But the main difference when Honda engines switch over to the higher cams it may get louder but it stays smooth as silk and at least to my ears sounds good. This sounds good but its a bit rough around the edges, needs to be smoother, but hey to each their own :)

if i may and dont get me wrong the mustang is a great car i love the power that beast generates but something that bothers me with mustangs is the fact that when you reach 60mph the car does not stop it take and act of god to make it stop unless you you have four piston calipers

no the button only works when it senses u have the keys on u.. and even then, only from that side.. so if I'm on the passenger side door with the key the driver's side + trunk buttons won't work

It's a great car but it is a real PITA unless the roads in your area are very well maintained because it has absolutely minimal ground clearance and its not hard to scrape up the front spoiler. Even speed bumps at malls can be a problem. People who say it's a daily driver must live somewhere with really well maintained roads.

Did you even read what I wrote? I said SICK of the costs, not can't afford them. Most of these luxury cars are just money pits. You keep having to pay for something every now and then and it gets annoying. Besides these days, non-luxury cars aren't that much behind a luxury car.

There's so many reasons why you or anything like it. Firstly, If you don't live in a generally warm climate annually area e.g., Cali, Tex, FL., don't get this car because it's too low and would get ripped up it eventually. I live in a city that gets snow, has speed bumps a foot and a half tall (not playing), and pot wholes. And this is a large metro city. If this would be your only car don't get it.

@techdude6693 fords may look good on paper. But on scale I think they would be the same cost to repair. For example the ford focus, good car good materials. Lexus, good car good materials. A luxury car cost alot to repair, and the focus has lots of problems. I see how luxury cars are a waste of money cause it's just and excuse to charge more to fix. I wouldn't think this 370 would be much of a diffrence from a regular Nissan. Maybe just abit more cause it has a Infiniti swapped engine.

I have the 2013 370Z Touring and it is fun, but it has a lot of tire & road noise. It feels a little nose heavy at slow speeds but it sure is quick on the open road. Lousy visibility to the rear quarters and rear. All you can see behind you is the other car's hood & bumper. The rear camera helps a bit. My friend has a 335i and it's more comfortable and quiet, but it always has problems. Whenever you push a lot of horses like 300 hp through a turbo, you're stressing something in the car.
