2010 Nissan Maxima 3.5 catalytic converter part 2

The cat can slide thru the subframe with ease. I replaced mine with a magnaflow part #52129 following the instructions in this video. The hardest part is removing the 2bolts and nuts from the converter to manifold . I have a Milwaukee impact with 1500lb nut busting power, but it wasn’t able to break loose the bolts due to the location of said nuts/bolts. With all the extensions on the impact it diminished its power greatly. I sprayed WD-40 on the threads and let them sit for a while. I suggest soaking in WD-40 as soon as you can reach the bolts/nuts. With a breaker bar and impact sockets give it everything you got and becareful not to strip them. Once you break the converter loose, you’re home free.

What tool did you use to get to the top nuts and studs on the back side of the catalytic converter. You really need a long extension.

Is it easy to remove the Catyl from beneath by the subframe?

He sure didn't removed it...I didn't see nothing..plus he probably paid 1000 dollars for the cat..realty??😂😂
