2010 Renault Clio Part 1 - Blower motor not working

The owners of this 2010 Clio (Baz & Debs) asked me to take a look as the blower motor wasn't working. The complaint was verified quickly enough so it was just a matter of what exactly was wrong. I checked for power at the blower resistor and that was fine. Next was to check the connector for the blower motor. Being a UK RHD car, the steering column has to be removed because the blower motor is in the same position as the LHD cars (because French as HubNut would say). There was power at the connector for the motor so I'm certain that the blower motor is dead. I've been asked to fit a replacement blower motor which the owners will be sourcing.

Dave I last Changed a Blower motor on a Ford capri what a nightmare if you do the job good luck think what a garage would charge even check this out what ever you charge they would save p9unds on garage charges 😊 Phil in stoke
