They were a breath of fresh air when they came along. Different style, young, good looking,so talented, just fresh. They changed barbershop forever.

The Bass just smacked it out of the park on this mic setup. This is probably the tightest they ever sang. Considered, controlled and authentic. Stunning work gents.

Hate to burst both of your egos but the bass is actually Didier Linder.

@@steveboone1498 Ego? It doesn’t need an ego to identify Martin Wahlgren in this quartet. Didier Linder replaced him but not before this recording. I assure you that this is Ringmasters version 1, not version 2.

This video just popped up on my fyp. Even after 14 years, these so-and-so's are THE gold standard. I first 'met' them with the Notre Dame medley. EVERY video I've seen of them since just proves the fact they are just. that. damn. good.

Wait, was that Emmanuel in the end singing the counter tenor part? And Martin being so excited to pump out his low notes just puts a big fat smile on my face. How far you guys have come. :) OH and Jakob, that last key just blew me out of the chair. Sweet!

Fantastic! One thing I notice is that they are careful about how the shape the vowels. Their mouth shapes match, meaning the sound of the vowels match. Fantastic.

With the way our country in 2020 is struggling, plus losing my daughter, Mardi, when I pulled this virtual chorus and began listening, I was in tears. Westminster, you are my favorite barbershop chorus. Your arrangements and glorious voices are the best I have ever heard. I was a bass in Sweet Adelines for 20 years; and have the ability (whether good or bad) to hear off key notes/chords. Wish you could come to Penn State (State College, PA) some time to perform. As they say, I would give my eye teeth! Keep up the good work.

That bass is only going to get richer and fuller and maybe deeper as he grows He’s only a baby at the moment He’ll probably surpass the great ones for age for age The head voice for the tenor is so pure not scratchy but sweet Not easy to do especially when going for those higher notes

@@tobiaslackner7694 I don’t really have one. But they got better in every aspect to win the gold. Stage presence and sound were the biggest improvements. They’ve always been good at interpretation. Their sound got much tighter and more focused. They’re one of the top quartets to ever sing barbershop now.
