I’ve owned this machine for 5 years, and it honestly does an acceptable job. It does circulate the cloths, but very slowly. Notice how the cloths move from the inside out, and then down onto the wash plate. It also uses more water than the Cabrios today. But the next time we buy a washer, we’ll probably go with a front loader

I've had my WP Cabrio for about 4 months now, and I think it cleans just as well as a traditional agitator washer. I wash really large loads using either the sheets or bulky cycle, and smaller loads using the normal cycle. It handles my queen size comforter really well.

I just bought this washer a week ago. I see tons of bad reviews here and outside of KZbin. This washer is great! I have 4 boys that get everything you can imagine on their clothes. They come out clean every time. I think all the negative reviews come from people set in their ways with the old school washers and don't clearly understand how HE washers operate. But who am I? Just my opinion. :-)

I have the Maytag bravos XL version of this and I’ve owned it for 11 years nearing 12 and it still works good and now there were much cleaner clothes and we’ve had it repaired a couple of times

For people saying this machine has no bloom or rollover of any kind whatsoever. There ACTUALLY is blooming, it's slow but it's there! You just have to fast forward the video to see some blooming going on.

I have one of this machines, at the beginning I had the doubt like you, I read the instructions and make some test, and I realized this machines work great, I wash a really dirty clothes, I work some weekends on a workshop, and the clothes get clean well on this , machines, it depends by the kind of detergent you use, and the right cycle to the wash job amd the kind of cloth and who dirty is.

I wonder why people still buy top loaders today. This one seems to be shredding the clothes instead of washing them. Front loaders are just superior in any way - they use less water and energy, have better cleaning and a more gentle wash action. Cycle may be longer, but you don't have to sit around waiting for it to finish, so that is not a problem.

It is already loaded. The start and stops it is doing, the machine is determining how much total water to add to the machine. The proper way to load it is to drop clothes around the tub, leaving the center of the wash plate exposed. This was done. By the way, I've owned this same washer now for two and a half years. I know what I'm talking about.

It is in fact very quiet. My downstairs neighbor can't hear a thing. I can wash in the middle of the night if I want to. It cleans brilliantly.

I have this washer but in the knop version and only thing I can say is that this washer is the best washer I ever buy is smart get the clothes realy clean beter than the normaal topload and my use 78% less energy and 78% less water

When I had my Cabrio, if I had a really large load of clothes I used the sheets/towels cycle since that cycle uses more water, and never had any problems with clothes not coming clean. I wish I still had it.

If you use the softer feature it will add some extra water. When I use mine. I usually use bulky or allergen. They both use much more water during washing.

Scott McAleer I soak my clothes in a bucket with soap in it first. I. Believe it senses the weight of the wash to the amount of water used. . Anyway that's how I fool the washer as to the water amount

i just got a cabrio 3.6 HE washer yesterday and took forever to do just one full load and the second load took more than 50min to do the load and the second load i had on heavy-duty and some of the towels were still fricken dirty!!

The reason the dry is it is it spins a lot faster and the reason The cycle is so long is because it’s actually the truth so clean towels so don’t complain because you could probably get a 5 ft.³ washer for the same amount of money

For really dirty clothes, you prewash or maybe even hose down. No kind of washer will remove 100% of caked on mud. As for grease, even my old agitator type washer clearly stated, the machine will not remove grease or petroleum oil.

In my opinion washers using agitators or theese kind of wash systems can hardly move the clothes and wash them correct because the amount of water is little but if there was a tumble action the results could be great! Yes,front load washers are doing better job... maybe too long cycles but better results

Just got rid of the Maytag Bravos x version of this washer. Machine kept pumping out the water and he stuck with the wash light on. Bought an old school Seed Queen from a mom and pop appliance store and could not be more satisfied

There is not water in the washer after it is done the grey rung attached to the spin drum is the water filled balance ring and the bottom plastic part has plastic in it too

@SuperSven06 IMHO, you made a great purchase with this washing machine. I've been using one now for nearly a yr and a half. I wash 5 queen sized sheets along with 6 pillow case and pillow liners in one load. Forty or more white T shirts and briefs, again one load, 10-12 pairs of jeans. All this using 2/3 less water and 2/3 less HOT water. My laundry time has been cut by 2/3 as well. I don't know where these people are coming from when they say its a bad machine. NOT True.

with these propeller washers you cant wash large loads of clothes and expect them to be clean.... this one by whirlpool is a piece of junk ... the propeller just rubs the clothes... and they are still dirty... I would like to see a demo washing say 10 bath sheets(towels) im sure they will just be wet..and still dirty..

No washer will remove grease, not ever. You need special cleaning chemicals. As for muddy clothes, a prewash is always advisable or at least a pre rinsing.

heres a big problem going on here, why would you wash whites and darks together. there are seperate cycles for these items. as you can see, there is no turn over because it is not loaded right according to the owners manual and a wrong cycle is being used..

Well, I guess if we are going to let the gov't dictate to us how much water we can use, then we will be forced to call mediocrity excellence. The whole cycle takes too long and clothes don't turn over enough times. The total cycle on my Kenmore 90 bought in 2002 is 30 min and the clothes are clean! How can the electricity use justify the water savings?
