I bought a Fiesta new. On the forums owners were telling about fuse box issues. I checked mine, it was going bad. The Ford had 17 separate problems while I owned it. I had the manual transmission so I missed all the automatic problems. Never ever will I own a Ford again. Replaced it with a Honda and it gave 213, 000 trouble free miles and counting..

I ended up doing this, took about 4 hours first time, i ended up moving the relay to an empty spot. Keep in mind the kit only includes the small pins for the relay control wires not the load carying wires. If you need all 5 pin sockets you will likely need additional parts. Parts from ford for the relay and 5 small pin recepticles was 24 bucks.

I just now had an issue with this didn't get a notice or anything in the mail. My headlights both went out, thought it was just the headlights burning out, my brother and I checked the fuses. Exact same issue. Built Ford Tough.

I do agree that they should not wait till the last minute people concerning a recall. But why doesn’t Ford just produce quality products like Toyota so you don’t have to have a recall. Not saying that Toyotas perfect far from it but I have a Toyota Camry and I have a Ford focus guess which one has never been in the shop

I have a 2012 fiesta SES, no problems so far with headlights. I live in San Jose California. No snow, no ice, no salt. Do i need to be cautious of this?

Rain and dirt can still get in but it would likely happen much later in the lifecycle of the vehicle.

I am of the theory that the corrosion is actually caused by a leaking capacitor inside the relay. In your climate, with under 20 inches of rain a year and mostly sunny days, you don't put as much stress on your low beams like we do in cold, wet climates with 4:30 sunsets in the winter. That doesn't mean you're immune if you use your low beams extensively.

Let me how you manage it, ended up buying a new car because of this issue in late 2020, now I need to use the car during the nights. And apparently I found out Ford did this "silent" recall without telling me. And I found out that recalled these cars for this issue in Canada. Hey Ford, your HQ is in Michigan, maybe notify your Michigan customers that you built a piece of crap and that you need to fix it.

My friend has tail light not working And the 30 A fuse burned and break in 2 it’s a pain to pull this out of the fuse slot , I would suggest my friend to sell this crappy car

I have a Ford Fiesta 2011 Ontario, Canada, Having no turn signals or hazard light, just rapid clicking. Ford Quick Lane said need new Fuse Box but Ford no longer being sold! They ended just cleaning the contacts, no parts replace. Any further advice? Last time during summer, A/C stop working, they just replace A/C fuse and clean contacts.

Keep the Box try maybe build a little gasket around the plastic cover using 3M rubber strips sticky on one side

Bad design by Ford. This box is not sealed from the factory. All salt road winter states have Fiestas with corroded failing under the hood fuse boxes. I replaced 90 percent of my box terminals now.
