I just got a 2014 Dodge Charger Irving police from auction with no key and the locksmith people can’t program a new key to it is this something to do with the Lf antena or what could it be ? Please anything could help

Hey Jeff, was your horn working by any chance in the same situation?

Your horn needs to be reconnected under the hood. You will see two multi colored wires, one end will be sticking out, the other runs back to the console. The horn was used to turn off the siren. I don't remember the wire colors, but you should notice them just pull up the right side tip piece beside the hood latch.

sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I have had a lot going on. I looked to the 2011-2018 Dodge Charger Pursuit Upfitter Guide. I checked for voltage and ground with both ignition on and off. I also used process of elimination with the cut wires from the civilian console. make sure you cut as much of the harness as you possibly can. I connected my console illumination wires to ignition on power wires. this will require some daisy chaining. Thank you

@@ryankursehuston I wired my fog lights to the police pass through wires. These were the wires coming out of the same loom as the horn. I probably should have installed a relay under the hood but I did not. I will probably go back and install one soon. I am going to make another video where I will label the wires better. I am going to install more lights as well as a heated and cooled cup holder. This time I am going to set up my console so I can just plug it in as a unit with one single plug connector.

Did you have any problems with the front speakers not working. I know they cut wires but I can’t find anything behind the bezel or radio unit. Thanks.

I use the preexisting pass through wires that all police chargers come with. These run from the center console to the horn harness .I just use the accessory power, and ground the switch in the car. I then use an after market relay under the hood with it's own ground. You will see these wires cut on the passenger side behind the grill. You probably had to reconnect your horn wires. As the horn was used to turn off the siren.
