Great video, I just bought one yesterday a 2016 CRDI, was so impressed! This particular one is mint, 1 lady owner and very low mileage. And yes the wheels do not have massive alloys so we found it very smooth to drive and test drove it on motorway and b roads, I'm in Ireland so have our fair share of potholes and it was very good, smooth over everything.

Thank you for your very kind comment. We still have the Kia Rio, featured in the video, and other than it being a slower starter in the winter months it has been all round reliable. The only thing we are starting to experience is a knock in the steering wheel which is common to most Kia’s of this age. You are very welcome and I hope I didn't go on too long with some of the features of the car. To be honest we still use the car daily and other then some annoying intermittent buzzing noise that happens in the boot lid, must be a loose bit of trim, its been great so far!! Hope it helps! Great little car, I was going to buy one of these recently but decided on the new Suzuki ignis which is also a great little car especially for town driving. But you do feel the bumps in the ignis too 🙈😁

Hi and thank you for commenting. The Kia Rio is a great car like you have said except for the crashing over bumps which I do think is down to the large alloy wheels and tyres, which may be the the same on the Ignis. Never tried the Suzuki Ignis only the Swift which I really liked (and reviewed) and I have only heard good things about the Ignis so I am sure it is a good choice and may I take this opportunity to wish you many happy miles in it. I do still have this very car (after nearly 5 years of ownership) and the only issue we have recently experienced is with a slight clunk when turning the steering wheel, which is common on all Kia Rios and Hyundai i20s of this age. Other than the above it has been a fantastic car overall and still great to drive and cheap to run. Hope it helps! Cheers, Tony - WTA

Hi there!! Great to read that you have got yourself a Kia Rio like the one featured in the video as it is a great car. Mileage wise, the video was out in March 2021 so I can only guess that by that point it had probably travelled between 55-60,000 miles. Yes we still have it and other than a very slight slow start when really cold and new front tyres it has been great so far and knowing my wife (as it is hers) we will hopefully keep it for a fair few years yet! Hiya. Because the car has parking sensors, on the screen, are you able to see the back of the car?

It doesn’t have a reversing camera I am afraid as it just has the sensors which sound as you get nearer an object. It is still a great car, we have had it four years now and is still used daily. Hope it helps! Cheers, Tony - WTA

Hi great review, my wife has just picked up the same model, i was wondering if you can help? I have been looking and failing to find a straight answer online, but how do I reset the low tyre pressure warning light once i have inflated the tyres. I have been searching for a button but had no luck, if you could help that would be great thanks

Great to read that your wife has just picked up a Kia Rio, it is a great car and we still have ours which is used daily. Unfortunately our Kia Rio doesn't seem to have the tyre pressure sensor you are enquiring about. I know that because just before Christmas my wife had a near flat tyre due to one of the alloys needing some repair and there was nothing indicating any form of reduction in tyre pressure. The best thing I could suggest would be for you to join a Kia Rio forum and see if anyone can help you there. Alternatively get in touch with Kia and see if one of the mechanics can guide you through resetting the sensor. I've read about issues regarding the PDF fitted to this car. Have you had any problems with the one fitted to your car?

We haven’t had any real issues with the DPF fitted to our Kia Rio in the years we have had it. If my wife does mention that she isn’t getting the same performance that she is used to I tend to take for for a 100 mile drive down the motorway to clear any cob webs out. Haven’t done it for a while due to the cost of fuel but otherwise it has been ok so far. The only real issue we are experiencing with our Kia Rio at the moment is that it is developing a knock when you turn the steering wheel which seems to be common on both Kia’s and Hyundai so I will have to get that investigated soon. Otherwise it is still a good car and we are happy with it. Have you had any issues with your DPF? Cheers, Tony - WTA

Its only the PDF comments I have read that is giving me cold feet! I reckon I'll just have to go and take it for a test drive and ask the dealer some questions. Cheers.

Thank you for your honest critique of the video. I must admit that I do feel that sometimes that I do go on a little about parts of the car I am talking about but for me I want to convey a much information about the car as possible for people who are in the market for a Kia Rio. I do split these videos into two separate videos as well which is just the Walkaround and Interior video and Test Drive video so people can watch more of what they are interested in.
