Just sold my 11 MDX Adv+Ent to my nephew with +155,000 miles on her (he needed a larger vehicle w/ a 2nd child on the way). It only used 1.5 qts of oil per 9500 mile oil change interval and the magnetic shock/struts for Active Damper System were replaced under warranty (around $700 per corner). Still looked, handled, performed, and everything worked as the first day I purchased the MDX. I did purchase a 19 MDX Adv Sport Hybrid to replace my 11 MDX back in March of 2019. I just couldn't trade or sell the 11 MDX because it was such an excellent vehicle.

There a so many fine quality products in those categories. The best thing to do is find a dealership in your area and then "shop & drive". That is, find the vehicles they offer that suit your needs and take them for a spin. You won't know the right vehicle until you drive it. The longer the drive...the better. Find the one that really fits you and feels right. You'll be driving it for years to come...so take your time. Hope this helps..:) Steve

@inretorisk - Ha...! My running / sprinting does need a little work... that's true. But in my own defense... I was running wearing loafers on a very uneven surface and trying not to trip and fall on my face while talking to the camera. I don't care if he's a salesman, he's very entertaining, funny and has a nice soothing voice, I wish to hear more 'reviews' of this guy, he should switch careers and be a full time vehicle review journalist for a reputable car review spot. I liked this SUV before I saw this 'review', and he almost solidifies that decision for me lol.

nice review, u have a good approach for reviewing cars, a little bit of more technical in a practical world would be awesome, example suvs on gas, offroadings, handlings in corners day to day use or maybe even comparing similar cars time to time. just stuff i like to hear and think its important but never the less a terrific energy and approach.

That was an RDX when they exited the crashed plane. Coincidentally, it is new for the 2013 year...the NSX used is actually a 1990's NSX with a custom body kit to look like Acura's concept (not yet being made) NSX. I don't recall a TL, but guess it's possible :)

i have an MDX and the "SH-AWD" is very good in the cold Canadian Winters. I would guess it is better than the murrano, because the murrano is smaller and lower to the ground, but i am not sure about the pilot/pathfinder......i would assume they are close to the same in winter conditions. But the MDX is DEFINATELY a nicer car.

@anurek123 I'm not debating whether or not he's a good presenter, because he definitely is. My problem is when people make comments like ..." Can you tell us what you dont like", "why dont you ever make any negative comments", and "why are you always telling us how great the car is"...etc etc . He's a salesman NOT journalist ,his job is to make the cars look as good as possible so you go to Rosenthal Automotive and pick one up...lol all I'm saying is lower your expectations people!

@ItsDahVeed Somehow people don't understand that (people would rather hear something without negativity than something that diminishes a car that they like--even if the comment is warranted). So yes, this is an OVERVIEW. BTW if you ever go to an old carscom vid or something that cast the car in a negative light, it will go all of the sudden to really video-dissing comments because people aren't subs, they are looking up the vid bc they like the car, and only want to hear good things.

@TheMethodSkate You can consider this "review" of sorts because he goes over the main points of the cars. And I agree that the production quality and his passion for what he talks about is superb. But at the end of the day he's not a journalist,cause he has a conflict of interest, he talks about cars that he sells.therefore he cant be unbiased.There hasn't been one car that he's "reviewed" that he hasn't liked .Top Gear is Journalism, And they like less than 1/2 the cars they review
