@brindabellaoffroad Every lens has a different infinity point. Start at infinity then make adjustments to see if you get sharper images. @Designandrew is correct.

@brindabellaoffroad No don't focus on infinity, the focus point is so very slight that most lens are not very accurate around this fine point, still the best thing you can do is take a few images where you THINK they are totally focused, then go look at them on a computer to see if they are. The BEST way is to use a laptop with DSLR remote pro that way you can take photos and view the focus on a big screen in realtime. Also it has a function to record time lapse. I'm going to do one tonight!
