@tim3172
@tim3172 3 жыл бұрын
@@tiporari Betamax was very, very marginally better picture quality at a much higher cost and shorter play/record length. HDDVD was significantly smaller capacity discs leading to many contemporary films being too long to fit on a single disc. Add the lack of special features and BD-J and BD-Live equivalents and you're looking at inferior tech at a [pre-collapse] similar price tag. The Zune was just a mess: awful software, awful support, and tons of bugs and errors. Add in the hilarious amount of expensive and proprietary accessories and again... inferior product vs the competition. Apart from the $15/month subscription service [PACKED with WMDRM and license syncing bugs] there was nothing better about the Zune.

@@tim3172 I don’t think the zunes software was any worse than the iPod. Hell on the computer software it would populate each track whenever you added anything to the dedicated folder you had set up. So if you’re downloading stuff legally or illegally it would just start popping up in the software and be ready to sync to your device. Much more seamless then fucking iTunes.

I've owned 2 of these 2011 diesel X5s. Sold the second one to buy a 4Runner based on every auto journalist recommending it. After 8 months of slow acceleration, tippy handling, higher fuel cost, barely being able to see the road at night, and picking up things that fell out of the cargo area when opening the single-piece liftgate, I sold the 4Runner for the same price I paid for it and bought a 2018 X5. I know it's costing me about $10 a day in depreciation but it's worth it to love what I drive. Sure, the X5 is not for everyone but I guess neither is the 4Runner.

I never would have bought one but my uncle passed and left me his 2011 turbo diesel BMW. It had 21,000 miles on it it came from Naples Florida kept in the garage and low miles 2017 got the car now it has 385,000 MI on it still running strong first diesel vehicle I ever owned.. I use it for daily driver it's very smooth on the highway it has nice room inside and I will drive it to it blows up. Then when I'm not driving that I drive my 1969 Chevy pickup truck my dad bought it new showroom condition I drive that in the summer I add vintage Air conditioning I redone the motor 6 years ago punched out to 327 a little nice posi rear nice headers not to loud . But this BMW did not give me an ounce of problems all I did was the service my buddy is a mechanic that works on diesel vehicles everyday vehicles and sports cars and old hot rods.. it is a little noisy when it's at the red light idling but when you take off it is smooth as silk and plenty of power and cargo room for what it is.... I would not buy another BMW not my cup of tea . I was very thankful of getting the vehicle that was left to me and I was impressed of the gas mileage how it rode and how many miles it's lasting so far.... But I do love my Chevy pickup trucks from 1979 and down.. and I do not take the BMW to a Harley Davidson show I take my 69 Chevy and tow it with Americana a Chevy pickup. All around the BMW did me well then it's still going everything works stil and great in rain and snow AWD is nice ... The only complaint I have is a navigation screen it's fading a little bit and also the headlights get fogged up so I had to get the head light cleanup kit which I have to use every other year because the sun I guess makes the plastic turn darker.... And I'm not too fond of the folding armrest glove box. Very good video you did I did laugh thank you LOL

I own one and I love it. I live in Hickville USA where everyone drives a Cummins and it's fun to take them to a nice Sunday dinner at gapplebees while rolling coal on them. (got the dpf delete and that opens the car up to about 380 hp and close to 600 foot-pounds of torque) I love it.

You can get them super cheap over here in Germany and due to our strict two year „TÜV“ maintenance laws they are pretty reliable. 300.000km is nothing for this engine. In fact I had the 30d engine in my e91. I bought it with 160.000km and sold it at 350.000km. The engine didn’t had a single problem besides a broken alternator/waterpump/ac belt, which costed me 30€ and two hours in the garage.

My grandpa has this car and I love it. The diesel is so good, driving long distance there isn’t anything better. The 400 or so lb feet of torque makes this car take off even at 70 mph. Just tap the peddle and you’re gone. Although it has no character. The power of the diesel and the m package makes it such a nice driving car the character doesn’t matter.

My parents had a '05 X5. Their need was a family-sized SUV that can take your kids, a dog or suitcases in the boot, and can tow a horse float with two horses. In Australia, your options in 2011 were the X5 or a Toyota Land Cruiser. My parents never buy new, so in 2011 they were comparing an 05 X5 to an 05 LC. The LC was MORE EXPENSIVE.

A friend of mine had a 2011 BMW X5 diesel and the car would shut itself down due to an emissions malfunction. While he liked the car and it did get great fuel economy he replaced it with a Honda Pilot due to reliability concerns. We did use the X5 to drive to the Indy 500 pulling a pop up trailer and it did the job with no fuss and got about 22 mpg. The year prior, we did the same trip in his Dodge Ram with a Cummins diesel and pulling the same trailer got about 24 mpg...go figure.
