It had 21,000 miles on it it came from Naples Florida kept in the garage and low miles 2017 got the car now it has 385,000 MI on it still running strong first diesel vehicle I ever owned.. I use it for daily driver it's very smooth on the highway it has nice room inside and I will drive it to it blows up. Then when I'm not driving that I drive my 1969 Chevy pickup truck my dad bought it new showroom condition I drive that in the summer I add vintage Air conditioning I redone the motor 6 years ago punched out to 327 a little nice posi rear nice headers not to loud . But this BMW did not give me an ounce of problems all I did was the service my buddy is a mechanic that works on diesel vehicles everyday vehicles and sports cars and old hot rods.. it is a little noisy when it's at the red light idling but when you take off it is smooth as silk and plenty of power and cargo room for what it is.... I would not buy another BMW not my cup of tea . I was very thankful of getting the vehicle that was left to me and I was impressed of the gas mileage how it rode and how many miles it's lasting so far.... But I do love my Chevy pickup trucks from 1979 and down.. and I do not take the BMW to a Harley Davidson show I take my 69 Chevy and tow it with Americana a Chevy pickup. All around the BMW did me well then it's still going everything works stil and great in rain and snow AWD is nice ... The only complaint I have is a navigation screen it's fading a little bit and also the headlights get fogged up so I had to get the head light cleanup kit which I have to use every other year because the sun I guess makes the plastic turn darker.... And I'm not too fond of the folding armrest glove box. Very good video you did I did laugh thank you LOL

Got one of these with the NA N52 I6 for $3500. It’s been one hell of a ride fixing everything but I’m nearly there 🙏🏼 honestly feel as though these are supremely underrated - mines been pretty reliable and quite capable here in Utah. For half the price of a POW E class wagon I can definitely recommend these E70’s.

You had me until parked car ventilation. Living in new orleans on the north shore and having your car bake in a parking lot it is nice to have the car vent it self before you get in it dropping the temp by 70 degrees for 15 minutes before the end of shift.

Wow that was pretty rough. I think the E70 has aged great, & it’s sister the E71 spawned countless copies. The interior of this generation, in my opinion is superb. Just clean & very spartan. This car likely out handles everything in its class as well. These cars were Ofcourse developed on the Nurburgring. X5 vs 4Runner is easy choice for me. I will always take the X5...

My parents had a '05 X5. Their need was a family-sized SUV that can take your kids, a dog or suitcases in the boot, and can tow a horse float with two horses. In Australia, your options in 2011 were the X5 or a Toyota Land Cruiser. My parents never buy new, so in 2011 they were comparing an 05 X5 to an 05 LC. The LC was MORE EXPENSIVE.

A friend of mine had a 2011 BMW X5 diesel and the car would shut itself down due to an emissions malfunction. While he liked the car and it did get great fuel economy he replaced it with a Honda Pilot due to reliability concerns. We did use the X5 to drive to the Indy 500 pulling a pop up trailer and it did the job with no fuss and got about 22 mpg. The year prior, we did the same trip in his Dodge Ram with a Cummins diesel and pulling the same trailer got about 24 mpg...go figure.
