Thanks Autoboob. This is absolutely the must-have vehicle for those short drives at the track when three passengers want to tag along. Could consider the CTS-V wagon, but I'd have to give up great styling, hauling capacity, and a lower center of gravity. But I would gain a half second from 0-60, a 1000 pounds and the likelihood of being referred to as a douche.

@McLarenMercedes He was referring to 6 cylinders that's why I told him about the inline 6, but they were offered with a 4 cylinder.The point is BMW never made a V6 engine.

bmw has v6 for sure, Although its not available in the states. the v6 inline engine such as x6 35, 330, 335, 530, 535, 640 and 730 are available in europe, asia and the middle east region.

@besttyler Most of them had inline 4's actually. One of the best engines made ever no less, the M10. Those were later used in Formula 1 where they in their turbocharged form saw over 1400hp in qualifying in 1986.

BMW made a beautiful vehicle and there is sooo much room to develop future models. The X6 suspension needs multiple modes - Einfach in den Organen. Other ideas would be a bullet resistant model that can go through deep water and withstand tornadoes, floods and other climate events. Much safer to lockup 50% of that horsepower so that only the owner can access it - 550 HP can be very dangerous in anxious hands. Needs Paddle Shifters, and front winch, rear tow hitch, both hidden.

This car is actually extremely athletic. The only other suv out there that could rival this would be the cayenne turbo. They're not just big and fast, they handle like they're racing coupes. If you don't believe me, search "cayenne turbo vs x6m" and click on the 2 part link posted by Suedschleife. German dude talks mad shit, tests them, then admits how good they are.

However, it just doesn't suit my personal taste(or any Bmers for that matter) when it comes to first impression. Sounds like it may be a beast under the hood though.

Dude, it's an inline 6, not a V6, and I would definitely buy a supercharged V8 Range Rover over this car. Much more comfortable, although this is still a great car.

My friends ad has a white x6 m it's truly a piece of crap. Not nice interior. If you want a fast car buy a two door heck there are 30k mustangs faster form 0-60. This thing is about 100k

Ya it's a sedan now (weird) but it's not running with less horsepower. I have driven the new M3 and M4 and they are rockets but unfortunately only 2 drive wheels and the ride is BUSY. I prefer the 550i Xdrive that car shits and gets with no drama and in addition it will coddle you when you are not feeling aggressive.
