Would you do anything different if you did it again? How has it held up? What's the gains?

I would probably swap out the lifters and trays for new ones. I didn’t do this because I just didn’t know to at the time. BUT, the engine is still holding strong with lots of pulls! I currently have 650hp on E85 and about 580 ft-lbs torque. I’m getting a new dyno tune in 2 weeks though.

What was the absolute total for the zl1 bumper with the paint and fog lights?

Great question. I did that upgrade back in 2013. But I remember at that time it was around $750 for paint and the whole kit. Not sure what it’s priced at now though.

It’s not a “Stage” cam, it’s a custom cut from Comp Cams: Comp Cam Camshaft (54-000-11): 13018R/13022R HR 116 + 4 231/247 Duration @ .050 .617/.624 Valve Lift 116 + 4 LSA

It was a lot of money. I saved up for a while. Just depends on what you want to do, but it can easily creep past $12k

Is the hood closing with this ?

Yes, the hood closes just fine. The supercharger is actually no higher than the stock intake manifold. No clearance issues at all.

I’m currently running a 87mm pulley by Magnuson.

@@allenwoolsey is that what they set u in kit or did you get that separate, did you have to change the belt or nah and also what PSI did that give you cause i heard you lose some psi with like headers and cam that’s why i wanna change pulley to gain it back

It wasn’t cheap, but the Magnuson Hearbeat price is on their site. I believe it was around $9k for that. I did a lot more than just add a supercharger though. Price all depends on what your goals are.

@@allenwoolseyhey man i’m putting this supercharger on my car in a few months, looking for like 600 wheel nothing crazy, im already pushing 500 with just FBO, what mods do i need to make it work?

@@trent9426 you can just bolt it on with what comes in the kit, which would be injectors, pinning the balancer, etc. I chose to go in and replace anything I took apart as well as upgrading any parts to handle more boost when needed. It all just depends on your goals and budget.

I believe this kit is for an LS3 engine, not sure. Check on Magnuson’s site for applications. But RS is just a trim package, it doesn’t determine your engine type.
