I have a 2011 Chrysler 200 Touring & my front bumper cover has been coming off whenever I try to go in or out of a driveway or whenever it scraps against anything it immediately comes loose. I‘ve been pushing it back into place for a while now but I think I’m going to go ahead & re-watch your video, bring my tools outside & make sure all the pins are in place correctly & double check all the the screws & replace any that are broken or missing. Anyway like I said...”Thank you so much!”....this was huge help! Very well presented tutorial. Thanks. That said, how crazy is it that you've got to remove the bumper cover in order to replace the headlight bulbs on these cars? My friend just paid over $240 at indy mechanic to have both bulbs replaced. True story.

On most of our cars you dont have to but in this case you do. $240 even then sounds excessive. It takes less then 1 hour to replace and then the price of the bulbs. Thanks for commenting and make sure to subscribe.

+Jim Barrett Thanks Jim. Fundamentally its the same....it uses different fasteners. You have the ones along the top....bottom and sides. Nothing difficult that I can see when looking at the service info. Its not the same style but you should do fine using the video as a bases to follow.

All done! Replaced the bumper...had to get creative (post crash)...Replaced Driver side headlight assembly....bumped out fender same side to avoid replacement. 2.75-3 hours..daddy/daughter time (her car). Thanks again!

We have a 2011 200 and yesterday while on the hwy, I THINK it was the Belly Pan, it came off...got stuck under the vehicle for a good mile while driving and, finally flew right off from under the car while exiting off the hwy! I was terrified bc I had no clue what was happening. It felt like maybe I blew a tire, but I hadn't. Anyway, when I got the car home, whatever had came off has detatched the driver side fender/bumper... Its JUST on the drivers side. Right where you were talking about at the end of this video here, where you line up the clips on the side there...thats where the detachment is. Is there anyway to push this back together without taking the car somewhere to have it done? Or, without removing the entire bumper like in this video?? Thanks so very much!

Great Video, Is the procedure the same for a 2012. There is a small gap in the front bumper and you can see the rectangular tabs are broken on both sides. Do , I need to replace the tracks or would you suggest a bumper replacement ?

I have a 2012 chrysler 200. the setup looks so similar to mine. I am missing my bumper completely and just direction on where to find a replacement as well as purchasing the snaps and clips. any feedback would be awesome.

I didn't realize that all I had to do was remove the three 10mm bolts underneath (instead of all the 7mm screws across the front). Thanks! I'm going to be installing aftermarket fog lights and bezels that look exactly like factory, plus some LED DRL's this weekend. I plan on cutting the aftermarket fog light bezels in order to fit the LED DRL's. BTW, all of the aforementioned aftermarket lights are DOT approved. Don't replace your factory bulbs with LED or HID bulbs in the existing housings. Doing so blinds oncoming drivers, and is illegal!!!

Its been awhile since I have replaced a bulb on one.....look in the fender well to see if there is an access panel that can be removed to get you access, if none the the headlamp assembly will need to be removed in order to get to the bulbs per the service info.

The fundamental steps are the same with some slight differences. Mainly in the fender well opening there is one screw on each side where the rear of the bumper cover fastens to the fender area at the rear edge. If I wanted to insert a new upper grille, do I have to remove the bumper cover? I recently had a run in with some wildlife and broke the grille. My bumper cover is fine with minor scratches. I have the grille replacement ready to go, I'm just curious if I can place it in the opening without taking the cover off. Thanks.

The service info states that you can without removing the front bumper cover. Just take the fasteners off the top edge and then the grille. It sounds simple enough....havent had the chance to remove one myself yet so I cant say with 100% certainty that it will be that easy. Thanks for the question and make sure to subscribe

MotorCity Mechanic oh no worries. it should be extremely easy because the grille is gone lol. It's an empty hole to my radiator. So basically I just have to put it in using the 2 10mm bolts and 6 fasteners.

Well as it turns out, those 2 T-20 screws at the bottom of the grille, I have no clue how to get at them once I've fastened the grille in place. Any suggestions, without having to crawl under the car and remove the splash guard? I thought it was going to be easy lol. Mine is a 2013 2.4L LX model. Basically the same as the 2011. So it was easy after all lol. I just had to remove 2 bolts and remove the hood latch. Then I was able to place the 2 screws at the bottom to fasten the grille in.

I don't know for sure if you can swap different versions. Didn't know what versions there are out there. I haven't come across that swap as of yet. Wish I had more info.

Great video I have been looking all over the place for a video on the grill/bumper removal of chrysler 200. I am replacing the grill on my chrysler 200 to an after market one do i need to remove the entire bumper or can i just remove the grill? The pdf instructions make it seem like i dont need to remove the entire bumper. The aftermarket grill says it will use the existing OE surround so I shouldn't need to cut anything right? Just unscrew the factory grill and replace with the aftermarket? And it is a replacement grill not an overlay. here is the pdf instructions on the grill I want to purchase from car id. The service info that I am reading doesnt mention the cover being removed....its not very detailed but makes it sound easy enough. I havent had to do it myself so I am not completely sure. The info you attached doesnt mention removing it either. They did in the pictures as some point but I believe that was just to check it more clearly how it fastens.
